"The new owners are the best at address all issues. New renovation is going along great. Great location, great view of the city. This is the view I wait up to daily. Come and check them out."
"Lived at the Bellevue Towers in the 90s I was attacked and hurt while walking from parking lot to the bldg. It wasn't a very safe place then as several women were attacked I moved after my attack."
"Just did a self guided tour of the place and talked to some residents who started laughing when I asked if it was nice living there and went onto confirm what the other reviews said about water turnoffs. The gym was nice but the pool looked like it might be a good home for jar jar binks. Laundry is 3.50 a load and the shower head in the room I toured is so low you’d have to be 5’5” or shorter to stand up under it."
"I have lived at Maynard 305/Azur Tower for 3 years. I will not be renewing my lease. New property management took over recently, changing the name from Maynard 305 to Azur Tower. The first year I lived here, the water would be turned off for the entire building once every few months, for the span of a day. The second year, this became more frequent, often happening a few times a month. I complained to Maynard 305 management about short notice, since oftentimes notices would be posted after 6PM the night before, meaning many residents would already be home and wouldn't be aware until they tried to use their faucets or shower in the morning. This has only grown worse since the property became Azur Tower. Water has consistently been turned off to the entire building at least once a week for the past two months or so. This is, unfortunately, something residents get used to and learn to plan around. While the water is certainly an issue, it is the management that is a bigger problem. The morning of this review, I set an alarm to be up 30 minutes before the water was set to turn off, only to find that the water had been turned off early. This means that I cannot expect to have water until 4PM this evening, and only if that time is accurate. How does this impact my day? As an intern with a local non-profit, I have a trial I am supposed to attend in an hour. I would ask anyone reading this review to ask how they would feel being unable to shower and prepare themselves knowing they are soon to appear in court. The water being cut off is an inconvenience, but the times being inaccurate are a major inconvenience that show no consideration for residents. Upon discovering that the water was off earlier than it was stated, I called down to my leasing office. The employee who answered seemed incredulous. Her first words were, "Well, we can't turn the water back on for you, if that's what you're asking." I wasn't asking anything. I was pointing out as politely as possible how much of an inconvenience this is to residents, and asking if residents can get some assurance that this will not occur again. Her response: "We have no control over that. Sorry for the inconvenience. Is there anything else you needed today?" I replied, disappointed, "No, I suppose that's it," to which she promptly hung up the call. This shows either zero training or zero consideration for dealing with residents who, it should be remembered, are customers. Furthermore, are we, as residents, supposed to believe that no one in the leasing office has any control over when the water in the building is on or off? This entire experience, which happens about once a week, demonstrates a complete lack of concern for the schedules or comfort of those who live here. It also only one example of issues that have led me to decide not to renew my lease. Others include the neighborhood, which is not very safe. When the weather is warm, prostitutes walk the sidewalks outside of the building. I have been propositioned pulling into the parking garage more than once. One night, around 3 AM, a burst of gunshots occurred on the street running behind the parking lot. Upon reporting to the leasing office, I was greeted with the same shrug and lack of concern for residents. Despite these neighborhood issues, the rent is consistently going up year-after-year. Speaking of safety, the fire alarms in my unit have not worked since I moved in. I have reported this numerous times. I have also had issues with roaches in my kitchen. When this happened once while this was Maynard 305, they had pest control here twice a week every week until the problem was taken care of. Under Azur Tower, pest control has shown up once or twice a month, despite my complaints. The prime issue, again, is lack of concern from management. Rent here if you don't mind being viewed as simply a source of cash. Do not rent here if you want to feel safe, clean, and expect your comforts, concerns, and complaints as a customer to be taken seriously, especially for how much you'll be paying."
"Honestly liked the place until I put a maintenance request in to have my bath tub unclogged (which was clogged the day i moved in). The maintenance worker took 3 days to resolve the issue meaning 3 days i had to go without a bathroom and to make things worse the maintenance worker left all of the rubbish (hair, gunk, slime, etc.) he pulled out of the tub everywhere in my bathroom (floor, tub, counter, etc.). I thought he would comeback and clean up his mess, but of course, he didn't so i had to get on my hands and knees to clean of the filth he created. Job well done right?"
