Hickory Grove Apartments

"The apartments is horrible the new leasing adgents are horrible. I been living here for a year and didnt have a problem until some months ago. I wasnt planning on leaving until the pipes busted in my apartment and the ruined all my furniture. The roof fell out and the apartment now have mold. I constantly put work orders in and they lie and say someone on the way and i go back to the office an hour later and everyone chatting it up. I asked to break my lease due to the hazards and they had the nerve to say I cant do that. I havent lived in my apartment for 2 months due to the situation. The water always off. I moved my things out and everything still the same from the winter storm."

"I’m going to make this short & simple. - the gate is always broken - cars are always getting broken into - can put in 50 million work orders & they still won’t come fix anything. - shooting & all types of crime carrying on at all hours of the day. - GHETTO!!!! When I say they do not care they DO NOT CARE! They don’t care if your pipes busted, roof caving in, apartment don’t have heat/air for months, suppose to get new blinds when you moved in & never received them. They just flat out do not care about anything but the RENT! This should be your LAST resort of residence because you will be miserable staying here. It’s been nothing but a headache staying over here."

"Trash!! Nothing gets fixed and somehow work orders are reported as completed, lazy much. Calling the emergency maintenance line is a waste. You can only leave a message and good luck with them returning a call. Every change in management, which is often, just gets worse. Also as many car break ins that happen you wonder if that one parked security guard is working, it's not. They are also not keeping up with vacant apartments. In my area alone Three! vacant apartments pipes bursted last week. On the third and second floors."

"I have been a resident for 17 years and I must attest that Stephanie Hankins and her staff are one of the best teams that I have encountered. The trash issue has improved, she has hired new security & staff, she posted guidelines and instructions for inclement weather(vacant apartments are addressed as well) and there is an overall improvement to the community which was much needed. Stephanie displays professionalism everytime that I speak with her or her staff. Stephanie and staff gets a Bravo Zulu( well done) in Navy military standards. I would also like to mention the regional Manager Michelle Chastain who returned my call within the same day (which has never happened). Our conversation displayed Mrs. Chastain professionalism and attentiveness to my concerns. Finally a management team that actually listens AND takes actions. Keep up the good work, Ms B (Navy Woman)"

"Nicki Hyder the property apartment manager here is very unprofessional, and can have a attitude that is not the best. On several occasions she has lied about me because I informed her staff member she needs to do her job better. My heat has been off for days and she could care less. As a property manager she could care less, yet she cares about things her staff has said that is not true. Do not move here unless you absolutely have too. Even then find another place to go. Angelica who also works there shows respect, due diligence and over a pleasant personality. Nicki on the other hand, really need customer service training especially her being the leader. Don’t do it"
