The Nine at Memphis

"My experience staying here has genuinely been absolute hell and i would not recommend it to anyone. If i could give it 0 stars I would. I had contacted a office member about getting a replacement key around christmas time, so the office was closed for extra days and mind you i have no way in the building so of course i’m gonna try and contact someone asap. When I did that I was asked by an Office Member to give him oral sex in exchange for the key. I told the lady in charge and she basically said it was my fault for contacting him out of office hours. I had went about a month and a half without my washing machine working and they came to fix it and didn’t fix it and basically told me it was raggedy and nothing could be done. The white man with the glasses was the one who did this and he was rude on multiple occasions after. He had locked me outside in the rain and genuinely looked back at me and started laughing. This is not the only time a office member has purposely locked me out and looked back and laughed. I’ve been fined 150 dollars without being contacted or provided a reason. My car also got stolen from right in front of the office. I think it was an inside job because it got stolen at 5:30 and the office is scheduled to close at 6:00 and this was a tuesday. I was also informed that the nine cameras don’t work. Along with the 2 big blue police lights that flash outside. I have also had a friend who had a car get stolen around 3am. From 10pm to 6am, We are supposed to have security and when the car got stolen i went to ask security if they had seen anything. When I went up to the car, security was in the car sleeping and I also have this on video. I also think someone is breaking into my room because my door shows signs of forced entry. If any corporate member sees this review can you please help me. I’m trying to get out of my lease because look at all the bad things i’m experiencing and i’ve never done anything wrong. I’ve always paid my rent on time and been respectful to the office and I can’t keep living like this. I don’t want to mess up my credit score but at this rate it seems like I don’t have a choice unless I get help from the people who are higher up than the office members. I will say I love the girl with the curly brown hair. She has always been super sweet to me."

"We were so happy to stay here, the complex is so well organized and maintained. We were enlighten to meet Mr. eldor. He took so great care of us and made sure we have everything."

"I love this place. Last week it was freezing and due to Memphis infrastructure we had no water for anything. Eldor went above and beyond to get us water. He drove into a different part of town to and brought us drinking water and water for personal hygiene. I love this new management. I cannot believe that he did this for us."

"Had the worst experience staying here. ROACH INFESTATION. Apartment wasn’t even cleaned prior to our arrival. Not to mention all the fake advertising on their website. Most amenities/appliances are missing or broken. I was paying $75 a month for gated parking but the gate didn’t work until the last month or two. My car was broken into (along with at least 10 other cars) and window shattered. Police told me that The Nine’s security camera don’t work. No reimbursement offered. Upon my first day, my closet was broken and on the floor. After it broke a few times, I was called to the leasing office and asked if I wanted to pay for a nicer one that won’t break. Most of my mail was withheld for about 6 months. The manager told me we didn’t have a mailbox key, but after 6 months, an employee told us our mailbox is too full for any deliveries. Management was known for entering apartments without any notice or tenant present. At the apartment town hall meeting, a girl said she was walked in on topless. Be weary, it looks like most of the positive reviews on here are done by staff. Would never recommend this apartment to anyone."

"When something breaks good luck getting it fixed. They advertise a furnished apartment but we have been waiting for a TV for over a year. The parking is a joke. They have been charging a ridiculous fee all summer that was not included in last years contract. Just random people were charged. No rhyme or reason. If you did not pay it, then you were assessed a late fee. Then they started doubling the parking fee that was again not in last years contract. They included in this years but would not stop double charging. Now they do not have enough parking leaving young girls left to park on campus and walk a few blocks at night to their apartment . This morning a female was kidnapped on this area. Very poor management and no communication when you try to get things fixed. After they started charging for parking in an unsecured lot several cars had their windows busted out and then nobody cleaned up the glass for several days."
