"When we moved in, we already had trouble getting a hold of the landlord, and we should've taken it as a sign. Here's a short list of issues we've had at the Midtowner only from April to October 2023: 1. In-unit microwave hasn't worked since April 2023. In May, we were told they were ordering a new one. This has not happened yet. 2. Random spots of flooding around the house which resulted in having to throw away all of the purses I kept in my closet. It took several months for maintenance to take us seriously and then to fix. 3. Issues with wiring means that a light in the kitchen can't be turned off by a light switch and only by flipping a breaker. 4. Spotty AC through June and July followed by having NO AC end of August to when I'm writing this in October 2023. Because of this, I had to move my cat out of the apartment. 5. Sale of the building results in no access to online payment systems and applied late fees which we were assured were going to be removed from our account. Now we are told only SOME late fees will be removed and even then they have not yet been taken off of the account. It's been two full months. 6. A few months ago we noticed BEDBUGS, and it took harassing maintenance to get them to send out pest control. Because of this, I have essentially moved back into my parent's house until the lease is up. No one at management seems to truly understand what's going on, and they continue to go back on their word. The apartment is essentially unlivable, but they do not care and treat us like small children throwing a fit when we contact them. It was an overpriced apartment when everything worked. It's a scam now that nothing does. Do yourself a favor and get a comparable apartment for $800 per month. Update: The building was sold in August and the tenant portal didn’t immediately work. Before the sale, I paid my portion of the rent meaning that for August we only owed half, BUT the new portal reflected the full balance for August. We have been contacting management about that for 2 months meaning that they fully understand and are aware of the situation, but they still had not fixed the balance until mid-October. Keep in mind that the whole time we were getting hit with late fees for this rent every few weeks (which we were originally told were going to be dropped because a whole bunch of people were having problems with the portal but this was later gone back on). In October, the building manager Ashley emailed me and said “Home office has corrected your account to reflect your August rent. The EVICTION that was filed is now being dropped…However there is a few late fees that need to be taken care of. Thank you so much for patience and understanding”. IM SORRY HUH????? We received no notice of eviction, and that eviction would have been the result of their own failure to update our bill. We’ve fought tooth and nail to contact them at least once a week since August and they ignored us and blamed home office and then they filed an eviction against us for it and made us pay $400 in late fees. DO NOT MOVE HERE OR ANYWHERE OWNED BY THE WOGAN GROUP."

"A very bad building, services are non-existent, and the shared washing machines are very dirty. When we call the maintenance workers, they do not respond to us, unfortunately."
