Central Gardens Apartments

"I wanted love this apartment so much, but the parking situation is HORRIBLE! Never any parking in the back when I get off work (after 5pm), so I have to park in front of the building....where I get a ticket every day. Can't have friends and family over because they get tickets as well. I really planned on staying here for at least a few years but now I'm definitely out once my lease is up. This will be a cool place to live if they ever figure the parking situation out."

"I was here visiting friends, it was my 1st visit. Some amenities I noticed was an underground parking garage, no scraping ice for these cars. The apartments were nice, I wouldn't consider lavish. Entry is through a main entrance and the apartments are off a main hallway, this adds another layer of security for this midtown community. My friends were for the most part happy there, There were some concerns about maintenance in some areas needed improvement , but their satisfaction overall with their new residence was good. It was a pleasant visit in a comfortable home."

"SAVE YOURSELF FROM CHAOS !I might say these apartment have given me the absolute worst experience of having an apartment in MIDTOWN. Unprofessional experience period. Office hours is not sufficient, they'll open the office at whatever time they want to ; it took a week for me to get my keys, sign my lease, yet the landlord LIVES THERE TOO ...still didnt have an apartment READY (as you can see). Gave me a list to write down for any maintaince needed, I had a long list; yet still haven't fixed anything. They over charge people to live in a high level hell hole, expect YOU to wipe down the molded apartment given, will seek through your apartment with no notice, feed you lies about fixing your apartment, and etc. Washer your clothes cost about $30-$40, the dryers are a rip off, $40 garage fee MONTHLY which has leakage ( the top garage is free with holes on the ground). Security/police patrol who also lives in the building, takes his job too seriously. Maintenance men steps overboard & sort of harasses personal questioning EVERYTHING, wanna talk & seek info on you instead of doing their ONLY job.Tried talking to the landlord to sort things out before calling code enforcement. Two days after calling them, they evicted me for "non payment" which is a lie. Money was no problem, my health is extremely important !! Please second guess before leasing with these people. They will NOT work with you in the long run. On a good note: love the view"

"Maintenance has stepped up their game an so has the new managers. Alot of promised upgrades to the building so I'm looking forward to seeing them. Great place to live would give a 5 star but the pot heads have the building smelling like weed"

"My wife and I moved in here while our house was being renovated. Elizabeth and Philip (the managers) were very accommodating and worked with us for a short term lease. The apartment was nice and the management and maintenance staff are all very friendly and efficient. We've only had one issue that was fixed promptly. The only issue I would point to are the elevators and those are being upgraded later this year."
