"Please read! My Husband and I started trying for a baby in October of 2021. I had a prior diagnosis of PCOS but no insulin issues or weight issues. Due to irregular cycles, I reached out to my regular OB/Fertility clinic at the Center for Reproductive Medicine (Dr.Doody). Immediately, I was placed on clomid to regulate cycles, we tried 3 natural cycles, 4 medicated and 3 IUI’s. Nothing worked. I was recommended for exploratory surgery/laparoscopic surgery. In June they found stage 1 endometriosis and no PCOS. We did 4 more medicated cycles, 4 more IUIs and nothing worked. All I had to show was 40 more pounds of weight due to the stress and medication. I was fed up. So we reached out to Southeastern Fertility. This was the best decision we could have made! Dr. Gordon immediately re-diagnosed me with PCOS with one ultrasound, explained how all my prior treatment was being done incorrectly and went a whole other route. We decided to try one more IUI before IVF. I was placed on 500mg of Metformin, Gonal injections and Femara 5mg. 4 ultrasounds later and we had good eggs. The best part, we never once had a nurse do our ultrasound! It was always the doctor! One round of new meds and our 11th IUI, we are now 12 weeks pregnant with our first child! I cannot recommend this practice enough. It was a life saver. They know what they are doing and will get you pregnant even when you have lost all hope. Thank you Dr. Gordon!"
