"I had some of the best care that I have ever gotten. The staff was courageous, helpful and went beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Excellent facility."
"Nice people and clean office but they over book appointments and you'll be sitting in the waiting area for 2 plus hours I'll never come or recommend this place unless you don't value your time"
"I had a procedure done back in February as well as last week. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The medical staff was friendly and very reassuring. The nurse even contacted me the next day to check on me. It was a great experience and I highly recommend."
"I went to get my first colonoscopy this afternoon but decided to walk away and go home even after doing all the prep! Before I went into the doctor's office/waiting area, I needed to go to the bathroom but found that the bathrooms were "out of order." Not good since folks were going to need to use the bathroom (especially the ones coming in for a colonoscopy...as I did!) I decided to go check-in and ask where another working restroom was located. I walked into the waiting room and it felt like I had just walked into the DMV. The lady at the front desk told me there was a working restroom on the 2nd floor and gave me a packet to complete. When I went to complete the paperwork, I noticed one of the sheets had some of my information already typed out but it had someone else's social security number listed instead of mine. Before I walked back up to the front desk to check on this error, I heard another patient saying that it was going to be about a 2-3 hour delay since they had plumbing issues. After hearing this, I walked back up to the desk to ask about the delay and the error on my paperwork. The lady said that there was a delay and they were at least an hour behind and it could be a lot longer. Side note: It would have been nice for her to let me know when I first walked in...or better yet, how about excellent customer service and call patients prior to coming in to let them know of the plumbing issues and they may be a long delay. I mean, this would be very helpful for folks needing to be close to a bathroom. Anyway, the lady told me that that my referring doctor had sent them the information incorrectly and for me to follow up with them. At this point, I was done. I'll agree that not eating for a day and a half may have caused me to not cranky and to not be as tolerant of things as I normally am. However, when I got home, I called my doctor that referred me and they mentioned they don't send social security numbers over to other offices any longer and she did confirm they had my correct information. I'm not sure what happened with my paperwork but I do know one thing: When I'm going to have a surgical procedure done, I want to feel like I'm walking into a professional medical office and not the DMV. I'm very disappointed at the service I received by the front desk at Cool Springs Surgery Center...just informing me of the plumbing issue when I first arrived would have been nice and a simple call to let me and the other patients know prior to our visit would have been amazing. Healthcare is a choice...I reminded myself of this as I decided to leave my appointment today. Sure, I don't want to go through doing that prep again (I mean, let's face it...who does?...it's not a picnic!)....BUT I'm not going to feel like a medical office has me where they want me just because I've gone through all that prepping. I mean, if the service on the back end was like the front end...well, I don't want to even think about that."
"Went for a tonsillectomy with Dr. Johnston and I have to say everyone here was so amazing and kind. They make sure you know exactly what's going to happen, they make sure to introduce themselves, and they make sure to answer all of your questions. If you're looking for a good place to be well taken care of, this is it. I felt fully prepared and they make sure you have everything you need to heal. And everyone is so personable -- every single nurse, surgeon, clerk, anesthesiologist, everyone. They take great care of you. 100% recommend this place if you're going to be having a tonsillectomy or procedure done."
