"My wife had never had a waxing done before, so I went with her, intending to be supportive and act as comedic relief. But upon attempting to accompany her into the procedure room, I was stopped by the receptionist, and told it was illegal for anyone aside from the client to be present. Sensing hogwash, I asked what law she was referencing. Which prompted sputtering about a state regulation, about which she knew nothing, but nonetheless presumed to enforce. The situation was referred to the manager, and she parroted the same twaddle. But realizing that I wasn't going to swallow their story, they called the owner. After which, they confessed that no regulation existed on the subject. They just feel it's their calling to impose petty tyrannies onto their clients, under the pretense of state law. They then predictably asked for a tip when I went to pay."

Jamesia was wonderful and made my first Brazilian wax a smooth and non stressful one. She was friendly and talked me through the process so I was comfortable.
