"My teen is a senior in high school and has been going to Snodgrass-King Cool Springs probably the past 13 years. My near young adult has had her last visit there because 1) we got charged $25 for a missed appointment. Out of the past 13 years we missed 1 appointment and got charged. No grace period for the first and only 1 time missed visit. Oh, and for some reason the reminder notice for the appt went to my husband and not me. 2) sometime in the past year, their policy changed where full paying customers no longer receive a 10% discount. This was news to me. Was never notified of this new policy change. It was a surprise to me today and the billing staff told me they are under new management and they no longer honor the 10% discount for full paying customers 3) they have a "Smile Care" plan that is not insurance where they try to enroll you to join a membership for those without insurance. Someone please explain to me why it is advantageous to get rid of the 10% discount in favor of some sort of membership cost savings plan when they would get their money up front! Another thing is my child got her orthodontic treatment there. It is no longer a family business and has a corporate feel. No loyalty to the customer. Feeling like a #. Thanks, I'll go somewhere else."
