"I have been coming to Great Cuts for years now (can't believe it's been that long!) and I've got to say that Olga is simply one of the best barbers I've ever had the pleasure of giving my business to. What precisely makes her so great? Olga is an absolute wizard with her tools. Seriously. Her ability to make curved cuts, to wield a straight-razor, and to ensure evenness is unmatched. She works with me to understand the style that I'm going for, and will ask about my preferences while cutting. In speaking about the style we are able to discern what will work and won't. She will always give options on how to achieve a certain look, how I want my mustache trimmed, how my beard should be shaped, etc. If asked, she will always give her opinion, and, as someone who has spent very little time throughout their lives considering their hairstyle, this is extremely helpful. Perhaps a peculiarity of mine, but I'm never thrilled to go to a barber shop where conversation is forced. I understand that some people love this, but there are times when I just want to sit quietly in the chair and think. She's a great conversationalist in this respect. Conversation is never forced, and she's extremely respectful. She can handle both classic and modern haircuts, as, over the years, I've come to her with pictures of guys sporting each which I would like to have my own hair modeled after. Don't be fooled by the facade, this place is a gem. I really can't say enough about how awesome my experience is every time I get my haircut.
