"I highly recommend Mid-South Internal Medicine. Both my parents see doctors here, I do as well and several friends do. we all see separate doctors and we've all had great experiences. Dr. Tran is phenomenal. He's proactive, he takes time with me each time I see him and he has detected problems and referred me to specialists to diagnose medical conditions that had been plaguing me. I feel safe in his care and am so thankful for Mid-South Internal Medicine. Their staff are friendly and I never have to wait long for any service I receive."

"I was a patient at this office for almost ten years until they “decided” to no longer accept my insurance. I went to great lengths to make sure my insurance was in network, even had a rep from the insurance company to reach out to the office but to no avail they made the excuse that the decision was made two days prior to me calling!! The receptionist I spoke to had a nasty disposition on the phone and from what I gather they seem to not accept people of color in their practice which is very racist to say the least! The staff is a certain race as well as the patients they accept! My doctor retired last year and after he left the practice went to the pits!! It’s 2024 we all deserve to be treated equally and with respect!"

"My husband and I came to this practice after Dr. Stephen Johnson came highly recommended by many of our friends. He is phenomenal. Everything else-is absolutely horrific. To say this is a horribly run practice is an understatement. We wait on the phone for upwards of 30 minutes EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. We call. They say they will call us back and we have NEVER received a call back-not once. The front office staff are short and unprofessional. Referrals require us calling 2-3xs and/or showing up in person before they ever got sent. Dr Johnson is incredible and I hope he makes the decision to open his own practice outside of this group because we will sadly be finding another PCP office until he does."

"Dr. Tran is my doctor and has been great in providing the care that I need. He addresses all my medical concerns and questions during each visit. The nurses are also pleasant and helpful. Also wanted to note that my interaction with the office staff has improved significantly over time. There were some rough patches due to the pandemic and other uncontrollable factors, but I believe the staff is heading towards the right direction. Highly recommended!"

"I was referred to this office by my previous doctor who retired. Dr Steven Johnson was quite pleasant but that is my only compliment. The front office girl is always unfriendly. I had my annual physical and then I agreed to an carotid artery ultrasound. It was a month and I still hadn't received any lab results. I called on three separate occasions to get my test results. I never spoke to a live person, I would always have to leave a message. No one ever returned my phone calls. I actually had to finally show up in person at the office to request my test results to be printed out for me. Quite unpleasant experience with this office."
