"Dr. Hayes and his resident as well as the other staff were great. However, Kenya, the phlebotomist in the lab, really needs to get a grip on how important the little things about her job are. She sanitized my arm to stick the needle in, then palpated all over where she had just sterilized with a gloved hand that she had used on the keyboard. The correct process is palpation THEN sterilization, then anchoring the vein BELOW where you will stick so that the needle enters through sterile skin. Touching the sanitized skin defeats the purpose of sanitizing. Even if her glove had been clean, it’s not sterile. But the worst part that really was upsetting to me, was that when she couldn’t get my vein the first time, she took the butterfly needle out of my arm and put it on the table… she went to my left arm, sanitized then broke the sterile field again by palpating, but then she picked that butterfly needle back up from the table and was moving to stick it in my arm. I was shocked and stopped her and asked if she would get a different needle. This is your job! You were about to stick a dirty needle into my vein! Come on, now. I have learned phlebotomy over and over, and this is just BASICS. I would’ve probably been okay, but if you had an immunocompromised patient and you stuck a needle from the table into their vein you can do serious harm. It’s just not okay. It’s laziness and not caring about what you are doing and how you could hurt people. This practice is awesome and could totally benefit by having a new phlebotomist. That’s unacceptable. How many people does she do that to?"

"My appointment today was again a positive experience . I am encouraged by Dr. Bastian and feel her desire to find a treatment or solution that will bring improvement in my life. I also want to compliment the greeters that check you in when arriving for an appointment. Linda is always cheerful and makes my visit start out with a laugh and smile."
"Greeted upon entering the office with warm and friendly conversation. The entire visit was timely. Physician answered all of my questions and addresses future concerns. Check out was a breeze. The whole experience was very nice."
"My experience is always good when I go to see Dr. Johnson. She is so patient and caring. People need that when having to see the doctor. You don't feel rushed. She listens and goes that extra mile to give you additional information. I love my doctor. I sought her out when my plan changed and put her in my network. She's taking good care of me. That gives me a peaceful mind."
