"Don't assume you're going to be picked up at your hotel. Even if the website says so. Just go to the office and everything is fine. Also don't imagine it as a bus tour running until the last cycle on the schedule. You need to talk to the driver about what sites you want to see then you'll be picked up accordingly. It's fun and all."

"We had 4 people on your city/ Graceland tour Wednesday June 7, 2023. 2 of us did the tour in 2014 and very much enjoyed it. Our driver, Evelyn was to pick us up at our hotel between 9:30 and 9:45. She arrived at 10:00, with no explanation why she was late. Our tour could be described as a "drive by" rather than interactive. We drove by Sun studios quickly because another vehicle was parked in front and were never given the opportunity for even a photo op on the outside. In 2014 we did a brief inside tour. We were then taken to the Peabody Hotel at 10:20 for the 11:00 am duck walk because she stated we could then get a front row view. This wasted a LOT of our tour time. Then to the pyramid, again a lot of wasted time. Then DROVE BY from a street away, to get a glimpse, if you were lucky, of the Lorraine Motel because Evelyn did not want to drive the bus closer because "didn't want to drive closer by those trucks." Had our lunch on Beale St., then "drove by" Stax studios which we were told we would see. An SUV was parked illegally in front of the studio with 2 people getting into the car. It appeared she did not want to wait for the vehicle to move or confront them about our parking area again. That's 2 venues we were deprived of. We were taken to Graceland which we thoroughly enjoyed, however we did pay additional for this. This is not meant to discredit Evelyn, however we all feel she made the tour less than promised. We feel she made no efforts on the customers behalf. It should be the tour Blues City promoted, not what she felt she didn't want to do. Needless to say Evelyn received NO TIP! "Our tour guide was so much fun. She told jokes and we had the best time. We were only in Memphis for 3 days so this is basically like a crash tour where you’re able to stop at various sites around the city but you will NOT take a tour of all of the sites. We didn’t go inside of Graceland or Lorraine Hotel but that was fine with us due to the amount of time and funds that would be needed to do everything individually. The basketball stadium that has been converted to Bass pro shops was interesting and we loved the large fish tanks inside. We also had time to shop while inside. She was courteous with allowing time at each stop and everyone in the Came together to take turns taking photos. They picked us up from the Peabody hotel so that was a huge plus. Overall it’s worth the money and Evelyn made the ride a lot of fun. She showed us a lot of historical homes & St. Jude’s along the way."

"The walking tour was spot on as advertised. Had the attractions listed and timing down to a T. Our guide Was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Weather was perfect which is a must for this outdoor walking tour. Would definitely recommend it. Covered a lot of history in a condensed area there in downtown Memphis."
