"This vintage retro MCM store was opened in 1985 by a local woman. The store has vintage clothing, furniture, kitchenware, bar accessories, jewelry, sunglasses, eclectic home decor along with Chaskey items. Met Woolette from a dear friend of mine who owned Middleton Moore Antiques. While in Memphis I visited her store a couple of times first with my Mother and found a fabulous pinup night light that I still have to this day. Visited again with my little brother where he found a vintage book on wrestling, my find was some '60s coasters and making bubble effect pictures. "I absolutely love Flashback Inc! Their selection captures the allure of an ultimate time capsule blended with familiar nostalgia. There is something for everyone in the well curated selection of vintage, mid-century, and Art Deco items as well as MUCH more. Legitimately one of (if not) the best antique/thrift stores I have ever been in. Highly recommend stopping in for Memphians and tourists alike. I discovered the heating tray I have pictured. That is real glass and real wood in impeccable condition with the heating element making what I find to be a neat design under the glass. Not only did a staff member (forgive me, I did not get any names—although I will in the future because I have already been twice and plan to be a regular) take the time to explain what it was to me when I asked, they also showed me another heating tray in another part of the store that was similar so I could compare. Another staff member also pointed out a different item with a similar purpose. Before checking out, they offered to do a demo with me to ensure that it worked properly. Superior customer service. I will be back…and maybe I will purchase the lamp I have my eye on next time…Go visit Flashback Inc!"
