"Five stars because of Sherry! Had a warm welcome, and some great advice for places to visit. Our room wasn't quite clean, and Sherry was able to move us right away. I was told they are just short staffed at the moment. This hotel has some growing pains right now with renovations being done, but it has great potential. The renovations that have been done make the rooms, lobby, and amenities much nicer. The breakfast was good. Waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy along with other basics."
"Upon walking in, the lobby looked clean and very nice. The front desk person, Sherry, I believe, was super nice and very helpful. Once I got to my room, there were a few hairs on the bed that were not mine. The ceiling had 2 lady bugs in the room and one in the bathroom ceiling. The bathtub also had hair that wasn't mine. The room carpet was not clean, looked like it hadn't been vacuumed. The counter top to the desk and next to the bed, were dusty and had a sticky residue. Overall, the room wasn't very clean. I don't plan to return here."
"Honestly when we drove up It scared us because of the construction to the outside . to our relief the room was clean and comfortable, the beds were amazing! where our room was we were not disturbed by the construction. The entire staff was very helpful and nice. the breakfast was good as well as the coffee. the shuttle to downtown was very stress relieving due to the large amounts of traffic. I would stay there again."
"First off... They're doing major exterior construction, and from what I understand they're way behind. The front entrance isn't usable right now, you have to go to the back of the building to enter. That being said, the lobby and hallways don't look bad at all. Honestly, it looks really nice. It's got great potential. The design of the rooms is smaller, but acceptable. Small TV, mini fridge, desk, all decently new, although somewhat battered, furniture. The headboard is also nice as well. Our first room had a huge patch of ceiling that was torn up, and there was a large stain on the comforter on the bed. When we reported it, the staff moved us to another room two floors down. And although the ceiling was intact, there was still damage and unclean parts to this room too. Chunks out of the exterior corners of the walls, a vanity sink that was falling down from the vanity top, vanity lighting and mirror hung askew, damage along the doors, and a security "lock" that I could have broken with minimal effort... all around, the stay was mediocre at best. The bed was comfortable, so there's that. Honestly, the price is inflated for the quality of the room."
