"Debbie, Amy and I loved our visit. Richard is the best host ever and amazing chef. The chickens lay fresh eggs every morning. The Demonbreun House is a warm comfortable environment and 1.5 miles from all the music and a short drive to Radnor state park which offers a beautiful environment for a walk around the lake. We highly recommend staying here. You will love it!"
"I just returned from my trip to Nashville for my girlfriend's birthday weekend and I am fairly positive the first thing she would say is that I absolutely NAILED IT in deciding where to stay. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Richard was a tremendous host - probably one of the most generous and friendly hosts I've ever had when staying out of town at a place. The breakfasts were absolutely phenomenal - another example of how Richard goes out of his way to accommodate your preferences and requests. Another example: I had a group of 4 staying in the Chardonnay Room; 2 guests were driving into town early while my flight got in super late. Richard was attentive and communicative in arranging for them to check in ahead of time so that the place would be ready for us the moment we got there late at night. As for the House itself, it is a great historic building with lots of nice decor, both inside and out, and the rooms themselves are perfectly sized with comfortable beds and everything else you'll need. And though I didn't get a chance to use it, the pool and spa area is great too. Importantly, if you prefer your quiet when sleeping, this place is perfect as it is in a quieter location of town. Yet it is also very close to downtown - so a perfect mix of a great place to relax at which is right next to where "everything" is. I will certainly be returning. 10 out of 10 for this place (and Richard) in my book!"
"Five Star Experience!!! What a wonderful time we had staying at Richard's B&B! We spent 4 nights here and it was the best B&B we have ever had the pleasure to stay. Richard is by far one of the most accommodating, friendly, and detail-oriented owners we have met. We stayed in the Cabernet Room which was beautifully appointed and sparkling clean. Each morning Richard made us a fresh breakfast of whatever we wanted to eat and served at the time requested by us. Every meal was delicious!!! The location of the house was within minutes of the sites we wanted to visit in Nashville. If you come to Nashville, this is the place to stay!"
"We had a great stay at Richard's place . The mansion is absolutely gorgeous and well decorated, bed is super comfortable, location is prime for Nashville. But the best part of our stay was the delicious breakfast served by our gracious host Richard. Scrambled eggs, your choice of meat, fresh fruit, it was by far the best meal of the day we had. We came to Nashville to watch our daughter's tennis match and loved this place so match , that now we are looking for an excuse to come back here and stay with Richard again."
"We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Timothy Demonbreun House at the end of December 2018. We were in Nashville to celebrate four big milestone birthdays- 16, 21, 50, and 55- and stayed one night for each birthday. Since we had our boys with us, we rented the Game Room. My wife and I were very comfortable in the king bed, and the boys each had their own twin. Staying at this bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations. Richard was the perfect host, and we enjoyed getting to know him. He couldn't have been more welcoming and generous with both his time and advice for getting the most out of Nashville. We came back from each busy day playing tourist to enjoy the game room for a few hours, and rest, before heading back out to listen to music each night. Breakfast was the best meal of the day. Richard's thoughtfulness is best explained with a story about our stay: on our first morning, at breakfast, Richard asked if anyone wanted hot sauce for their eggs. My oldest asked if he had Sriracha sauce, but Richard had never heard of it. While we were out for the day, he went to more than one grocery store looking for it. We didn't expect that and wouldn't have asked him to go to those lengths, but the next morning it was waiting at our table for us. I highly recommend staying at the TD House if you are looking for a premium experience on a visit to Nashville."
