"Our room was clean and the water pressure was great. All staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Sophia, the breakfast manager was friendly and helpful. Our truck broke down near the parking lot. Romario, the front desk clerk, contacted a tow truck company. Jay from Blessed Towing arrived within 30 minutes and repaired the truck on the spot. We are grateful for the kindness and effort from everyone."

"The worst place I’ve ever stayed in my life. Please please listen to the reviews and stay somewhere else. To start, this place is literally right on the highway in a very sketchy area. The halls smell strongly of marijuana. The walls are so thin you can hear everyone and the highway. The room was incredibly dirty and covered in long black hairs. The hairs were in the towels, hanging in the closet, and even wadded up in a hair bow stuck to the shower!! We also discovered that in the lamp that was barely attached to the wall, there was a chewed up piece of gum in it!!! We booked this place because it has a massive pool and hot tub. The hot tub was nice but wasn’t very hot, the jet switch didn’t work. The pool was ICE cold. I have never not got in a pool because of the temperature but this was my first! Another guest compared it to the titanic water at wonderworks. I called the service desk twice for the Wi-Fi password and no one would answer. Went to the desk and no one was there. Didn’t have Wi-Fi my entire stay. The bed was hard as a rock. I really couldn’t tell you a single nice thing about our stay here."

"The rooms were AMAZING. So clean. Pristine, in fact. Unfortunately we were running slightly late at check out because my partner and I were having a cathartic moment after a long period of difficulty. This was of no concern to the staff, however, who, at exactly 11AM, knocked on the door, called the room, and YELLED at us to leave. We were in the lobby by 11:03 and checked out by a very charismatic manager who beseached us to leave a review. He certainly had the riz, and ran a tight ship in his establishment, which was surely why the rooms were SO PERFECT AND CLEAN. So yes, I am leaving a very positive review. HOWEVER, I am doing somewhat in the spirit of being coerced, as I felt there was a vague threat behind the managers warm smile and wise, alert eyes, a sense that we owed him the review since, in hid infinite kindness, he neglected to charge us for another night after checking out 90 seconds late. There are no hard feelings on this end, however. We were just glad to bear witness to the majesty of this establishment, which was truly the crown jewel of the Choice Hotels family in Alabama."

"We reserved the room day before Valentine's day with the heart shaped jacuzzi. We couldn't enjoy it. The jets didn't work. We let them know when we checked out. Was told manager would get a hold of us. Still haven't heard anything after calling several days. The breakfast was cold and late. Will never stay there again."

"The rooms were nice. Plenty of hot water for showers. Hot tub wasn't hot, just warm. Pool was cold! We didn't stay for breakfast so can't speak on that. Overall a nice facility. Vending machines were empty. We had 3 rooms altogether, passing through traveling. Traffic is loud at night."
