"We stay overnight had a early flight at BNA. We had dinner at one of my favs Logan's... Breakfast was good. But Jordan gave us "AMAZING front desk service even though we check- in so late. I really appreciate him to the fullest. Even with the hiccup he gave us 100% great customer service. Happy Holidays! To you all there. Mrs. Mebane"
"I don’t understand most of the recent complaints about this hotel. Outdated? Sketchy? Dark? It isn’t outdated; it just isn’t a fancy hotel. People, it’s a Fairfield. We arrived during a thunderstorm, where the electricity blinked a few times, and still the lobby wasn’t dark or sketchy. I will agree with one review that the rooms likely do not have microwaves, since ours didn’t have a microwave. Our room had a standard mini fridge in it. And the room and beds were comfy. And clean. Great shower pressure too in the also clean bathroom. The location is good, down the road from the Gaylord Opry Hotel and Convention Center. So the Fairfield is also close to Opry Mills and The Grand Old Opry. Probably not walking distance though. Breakfast (free with stay) was yummy - waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, etc. Logans Roadhouse is right in front of the hotel. Logans is definitely within walking distance if there wasn’t a thunderstorm. Oh! And the person checking us in was pleasant, friendly, and even went out of her way to move us (without us asking) to a different room than originally assigned - I’m guessing a room that wasn’t on the first floor. We have stayed at this property a couple of times, and we will likely stay at this property again in the future."
"I was here for work purposes, so my company paid for my hotel of course. I would have given them a four star rating if they had microwaves in their rooms. I felt inconvenienced because I had to keep running down to the lobby in order to have access to a microwave, plus the microwave in the lobby was too small and mediocre at the least. Also, this location was okay, but due to being in the same vicinity of the Opryland convention center, the traffic was a pain while I was making my way back to the hotel, after having a long day at work, who wants to be delayed getting to your hotel when you are dead tired? But what can you expect because, this was on a Friday night."
"Be aware of bed bugs! We stayed there only one night. The place was dark as we entered hotel lobby. Our room smelled misty and damp. Once we discovered the problem we asked for another room. It was late at night so we couldn't leave and look for another hotel. The breakfast was okay. Large indoor pool was a plus."
"Just under a mile from the Gaylord hotel and about a mile to the big mall. It is walking distance though a Uber was simple enough at about $6-8 compared to the $10 per person shuttle. Transportation is nice compared to walking due to the heat in August. Rooms were clean and no significant complaints other than the rooms seem a little small but okay for 2 people in a king. Front staff was helpful."
