Reunion Hotel 105 South 11th Street, Nashville, TN 37206

"Super cute! Great place for close friends to stay and totally picture worthy. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless. We felt super safe since there is a gate to the courtyard and 2 passcode doors to get to our room. However, the gate to enter was loud when closing and could be heard from the room. The glass shower has no privacy to the room. Our solution was to leave while people were showering. A shower curtain would be a nice touch. Other than those minor details, it was a great place to stay!"

"The rooms are beautiful but if you want a good night sleep, this is not the place for you. 100 feet away is a club that had metal bands till 2 am on a Thursday eve. the room is above a bar. We didn't get to bed until the music stopped and then we had to get up to be out before 11. You can't complain because there is no onsite manager. It looks like a real hotel on their website but When we got to the place we walked through the bar ( called reunion) to get to our room which was connected. I asked a question and the bartender snapped back that she has no info about our room because the bar is not connected and that the rooms are a separate business. I got the impression from the bar staff that this is not a well liked entity. This morning when I texted the woman from the "hotel" about checking out I told her about the loud music our lack of sleep and that they need to have a disclaimer on their website about the noise bleed. I basically paid for a hotel night to not sleep. she said that "our team" at the bar is instructed to turn off the music at midnight and apologized but the bar is not part of her business and she seems to be unaware that the space was in the middle of a district of live venues. ( Which I just booked the room on an app and had no idea that this was the case- If I was informed I would have booked else where. If you are coming to town to party with your friends I guess these rooms are fine, super clean. spacious and nice decor. but otherwise look elsewhere."

"no management on premises and no one seems to know who is in charge, who is responsible or how to contact management. bar staff is cordial but unable to answer the simplest question. coffee machine with no milk or even powdered creamer. insufficient parking. no parking space per room as advertised. only 4 parking places for 8 rooms. noisy. bar is loud with sub bass sound system blasting at 1:00 am on weeknights and directly below hotel rooms making it impossible to sleep. p.a. system blasting in the courtyard in the rain after midnight with no guests. not a hotel to stay at if you need a good nights sleep or if you have an early appointment."

"This low rating is due to an underhanded business practice similar to AirBnb's hidden cleaning fees. Please be aware that this hotel charges a $50.00 cleaning fee that is hidden from the room rate until after you pay. I thought I was getting a room for $100 that ended up being $167.00. This is the same price as several other hotels in the area. I am not upset about the price as I am willing to pay 170 for a hotel room. It is the feeling of being scammed that motivated me to inquire further and ultimately cancel my reservation. I called to question the charge and the property manager minimized the dishonesty of this practice. However, they did cancel my reservation."
