"The room is on a one way street of a expressway route, you miss it you be driving another 15 minutes. The service I got was that nobody was working. Man left me there because his shift was over and his uber pulled up. It was mold on couch, tile was coming up, the doors was coming off the hinges, I almost cut my hand. It has potential. It's in between two 4 star hotels and these need to be shut down for a month and be rebuilt and touched up before they rent them out. I can't really say much on the behalf of this establishment but negative stuff."
"PLEASE READ REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING My husband and I wanted to have a weekend trip away from the kids to Memphis and decided on this place. We looked online and found the hotel Homewood Suites. We thought “Hey this looks really nice, let’s book!” Well… little did we know, the pictures were real off! It used to be Homewood Suites but the logos in this place were blacked out in paint. The parking has signs that say “Park at your own risk.” That gives an instant sketchy vibe!!! My husband checked us in and it was waaaaay off. The stench was unbearable. It smelled like pure mold and it lingered throughout the entire building. Not only did we pay for the room online, but they wanted $150 deposit for booking the room. My husband asked what time breakfast started, they stated they don’t serve breakfast. Are you kidding me?!! What kind of hotel doesn’t serve breakfast and why would there be a deposit for that much when it was all paid for online? Almost $400 we spent for just 2 nights. When we entered our room, we immediately noticed the stains on the furniture and carpet. The table in the living room was stained with red and it wasn’t even clean at all. The lamps didn’t even work in the living room area, not even the light from the ceiling fan over the bed wouldn’t turn on at all. The door in the bathroom couldn’t even shut all the way. There’s dumpsters all over the property which I assume they’re renovating. Now I see why there’s barely any cars here… what a scam!!!!! The only good part is that everything is pretty close. If we come back to Memphis, we’re definitely NOT staying here ever again. Spend your money elsewhere and NOT here."
"DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Booked through a 3rd party website, the site had good reviews. After checking in and getting to our room it smelled like mold. We went to the front desk to ask to move there was no other room available. The staff is rude. The rooms were not clean. They tell you that you get the $150 deposit back in 5-10 business days. It's been a month and still have not got it back. When you call the hotel the staff hangs up on you."
"WARNING: This place is pathetic and read the Google reviews before staying. My family was affected by the recent storms so we booked this place. My dad saw the pictures on the website and booked this hotel but they are deceiving. Drove to the place and picked up the keys for the room in a dark and unused lobby. Construction materials everywhere. Construction materials in the parking lot, chipped paint on the buildings, rooms in one building being remolded. Trash everywhere and a parking sign that states "Park at your own risk''. Got to the room thank God no musty smell but stains on the carpets, walls, curtains and a hornets nest near our door. Old Hilton stickers around the room and the worst part dead bug stains on the wall. In my parents room the bathroom handle on the cabinet was broken. We sanitized everything before using it. So bring your own Lysol spray and wipes. Also, was told by an employee that house keeping comes in at 10am so we had to wait for fresh towels. There is no breakfast being served in the lobby so either go to a restaurant or buy your own food. Full kitchen with no pans or utensils. The next day construction was working in the morning on the buildings next door. Loud banging noises and then at night my family had to spray Lysol because the neighbors were smoking and it came through the vents. Pros: The staff were nice and the beds though soft were comfortable. This is not a Hilton hotel anymore so stay at your own RISK!!!"
"I just needed a room for one night in Memphis. Thank goodness it was only one night. I booked this place through the Chase travel portal. The photos I saw looked pretty good and reviews seemed decent so I booked it. Now I see why, this place used to be run by Hilton and no longer is. When i walked in, the first thing I see were stains all over the living room floor. I'm hit with that really musty odor you get from very old motel rooms. There were random stains on walls, the lid on the toilet tank was broken and didn't fit properly, making the place look run down. I paid $99 but should've been half that as I have been to Motel 6 rooms for $50 that were in better condition. Also saw a sign saying they are not responsible for cars broken into. Which made me think that this is something that must happen a lot there. Checkin went smoothly and that's about all the good I can say. Never again will I stay here unless these places are renovated and brought under new management."
