Comfort Inn Jackson I-40

"It's disguised as a decent hotel, but the beds are stiff. Pillows are lumpy. Room service only replaces towels.. Rooms and refrigerator are hot when you get there. Couldnt be outside because "I was bothering a homeless employee trying to sleep in their car" TWICE!!!!!"

"The location was a little difficult to find late at night because the area is not well lit. The lady at check-in was very nice and friendly. Our room was dusty, and hairs on the sheets when I went to get into bed. The bathroom had a used washcloth hanging in the shower along with hair, and there was pubic hair on the bathroom floor and on the clean towels. Honestly, it just looked like they really didn't clean the bathroom. The breakfast was mediocre."

"The service was exceptional. My father was air lifted to Jackson Madison General Hospital. I had made the 2 hour trip along with my 4 kiddos. We were exhausted by the end of the night. I had trouble finding a room so all of us could rest. My little ones were tired and cranky! The front desk lady helped in so many ways, including me calling several times because I just couldn't find the place. She was very patient, understanding, and kind. I had so much going on that I don't remember her name. But what I do remember is that her actions and kindness helped so much during a very stressful time!"

"I did give this hotel stars that might not make sense after you read my review. The hotel exterior is bad. They didn't tell us it would be under construction when we booked for 4 days. The construction went on all day until 7pm. The room was updated that we had. But the carpet was stained in several places. The bed was Hard Hard Hard and I sleep on a firm bed at home if that tells you how hard this king bed was. We had a dinosaur upstairs that stomped all night. The lady at the desk was soooo nice and very easy to deal with. They did change out towel and trash out daily. Without requesting which was nice. The pool was full of bugs the day we arrived. The second day they cleaned it and put in chemicals (Friday). Saturday still couldn't swim and the pool chemicals were so loud you could smell them on every inch of the property. The grounds were very unkept. Trash everywhere from people to construction workers. I picked up over 100 pc of broken tile and about 20 nails and screws over the course of the visit. We had 2 of our vehicles there but there was a big car event there this weekend and the parking seemed limited for the amount of rooms they have. I was disappointed with the amount of money we paid to have all these issues. I have emailed the Corp office of these issues. Please if you book here call and ask about the construction. Also there was a family living in the room next to us for some time. It was packed full and their baby was crying 24/7. On Saturday they cleaned them out and they were sitting beside the hotel with piles and piles of their belongings. I'm sure they had no where to go but very hard to watch."

"From the moment I called to the time we left this place was great. The bed, linens on the bed and pillows were so soft and comfortable. The people working there were extremely nice. The men that made breakfast were so helpful and friendly. And the food and selections were amazing. They even walked around to see if they could get us anything. Every employee would wave at you and smile. Unfortunately we got in at 11 PM so it was too late to swim. Others were saying overpriced and run down. I couldn't disagree more from my experience. My extra money perhaps payed for the very clean room and soft towels. Thank you for a nice stay due to Comfort Inn's employees doing their jobs."
