"The hotel is HORRIBLE. Filthy, old, neglected, etc. The bathtub was leaking. They wouldn't take responsibility and change rooms or give a refuns because it's "under renovation" which was mentioned in the check in process. I wouldn't stay there, not even for free."
"I try to book with Wyndham hotels whenever possible because USUALLY their hotels are top notch (we prefer the price point of Super 8 and La Quinta) - particularly La Quinta. This location however gives you the feel of walking into a HORROR FLICK! FIRST, it is approx 2-2.5 miles OFF the "beaten path" and the area is SKETCHY at best. Add to that the fact that there are at least 3 double lights in the parking area but only 1 set works, so 50-70% of the parking area is black as pitch! When we departed this a.m. there was a 3rd Handicap driver parked in the "striped off" area between the 2 handicap parking spaces that were in the lighted area! Though it made it more difficult for me to enter my truck (I'm handicapped) I COULDN'T be upset with the "extra" driver as I wouldn't want to park in a DARK AREA either! SECOND: The exterior of the hotel is covered in black mold; the portico (where you drive under to enter the front check in desk) had been hit by a taller object and never repaired giving the impression that the portico wasn't stable; the driveway into and parking area is rough as all hell! Pot holes large enough to damage your tires! THIRD: Once assigned a room you are treated to hallways that are reminiscent of what the halls of the Titanic probably look like AFTER sinking!!! The carpets were so stained one couldn't determine what color(s) it was supposed to be. The elevator - from the outside - is enough to make you question whether it would work or not. The ceiling tiles in the hallway had DEFINITELY seen better days, with many being ajar; several being at least partially open and several had mold visible on them - one of which was COMPLETELY COVERED IN MOLD!!! THE ROOM appeared to be clean, but had DEFINITELY SEEN BETTER DAYS, with loose fixtures in the bathroom (tub enclosure was coming away from the wall) the tub had a dip in it, allowing water to stand in the bottom of the tub and there was mold around the ceiling of the tub. The carpet in the room is NO BETTER than what was in the hallway, filthy as hell! The only GOOD STRONG POINT in this stay was the employees!!! Both ladies (one p.m.; one a.m.) were just as SWEET AND FRIENDLY as could be!!! Do yourself a HUGE FAVOR and DO NOT, I REPEAT - DO NOT! - book this particular location!!!"
"Not recommended. Hotel overall was filthy. Breakfast was cold cereal. Only water came out of the orange juice machine. Coffee weak. We were exhausted and just needed a place to rest or we would have moved on. Little did we know there were nice hotels 10 miles W on 40. Wish we could have made it a little further. Planning ahead and reading reviews for our next stop."
"Horrible experience. If I hadn’t been so exhausted, we would’ve asked for a refund about another hotel. We were the only car in the parking lot. When you first walk in it smells like cigarette smoke and weed. The place was very dirty. Once we got to our room, apparently there was a dog on our floor. He barked almost nonstop for an hour and a half. I did call the front desk from my cell phone since the phone in the room did not work. The person at the front desk said she would speak to that customer and I believe they moved floors. Stains everywhere visible mold on the ceiling, stains in the toilet, garbage left from previous customer on the carpet, and the list goes on definitely would not recommend."
"HORRIBLE! The entire building needs to be torn down and remade! I can't believe they are allowed to let people stay here still! There is mold EVERYWHERE! I was scared to take my shoes off, tried not to touch the walls, I definitely didn't even think of showering... and the breakfast consisted of brick hard biscuits and literally soup for gravy. The elevator starts to open before you land on the right floor and shakes so bad I thought it would fail. All the furniture was either broken, missing parts, or severely damaged. The shower/tub had a constant leak, not a dribble or drip, but a full on leak. And the plaster on the ceiling is literally falling down on the floor. Let me just say that we had no where else to go for a late night crash while traveling through TN, but I've been in hostels in Europe that were 5 stars compared to this!"
