"I called about 5 different smog places with decent reviews. The one with the best price was Smog It Up! It was conveniently located close to my house. So I called them up and spoke to the owner George to see if he had availability. He told me to head on over. Great little hidden spot off of Folsom-Auburn Rd. near Folsom Crossing Bridge. I pulled up rolled down my window and he directed me where to park. I showed him my smog registration form. He had me fill out a form with my contact info. Then I waited in the waiting room and could watch him from the window of the waiting room as he performed the smog test. It was a very quick process. Didn't take any longer than 15 minutes. I ended up passing my smog. He informed me the certificate is electronically sent to the DMV so all I had to do was pay for my registration. Afterwards I chatted about cars in the parking lot with him until another customer showed up and my time with him was up. This company has been in business for 4 months now. They will get their STAR certification at the 6 month mark, which is a more stringent test if the DMV states "STAR test required" on the top of your registration form. Mine did not require this fortunately. Overall, I recommend this business. George is a very friendly guy and I enjoyed chatting with him. His business is fast, honest, and very reasonably priced compared to the competitors. Happy I found this place!"
