Hampton Inn Nashville-Vanderbilt 1919 West End Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203

"Never ever stay in this antiquated horrible place. The AC doesn't work, my room connected to another room that was being painted, so i woke up high on fumes all night. This hotel reminds me of an abandoned Halloween building meant only to scare you but takes large amounts of money from you. This place is out of touch with the rest of Nashville. I will NEVER stay here on purpose again. It smells bad, it feels bad, it should be demolished and demolished again. The owner should be embarrassed. I'm a diamond Hilton member, and I will go out of my way to let my friends, colleagues, and customers know there are dozens of better options. Also, the breakfast area is strange."

"Nice room and location was convenient to downtown Nashville. Are was walkable and had nice restaurants nearby. Reasonable access to I 65 to get going in the morning. Breakfast was good and had both hot and cold options available. Issue with some noisy guests at 12:30 am that disturbed sleep during "quiet hours" that was clearly posted in the lobby."

"Positive: Free parking, can't find that often downtown Nashville. Very nice & helpful EVENING front desk employee (I believe Savannah). Negatives: Room & especially bathroom is outdated. Shower falling apart. Asked morning front desk employee for room service at 9am - at least to get towels switched out. Came back at 1pm, nothing done. Asked again & received the answer that check-out rooms would be cleaned first, then ours. Ok, appreciate you. Unfortunately, when I got back at 4:30pm, the room wasn't clean nor the towels switched out. On a 3rd request, at least towels were brought to the room. I would not stay here again. I love Hilton/Hampton hotels - Diamond Member - but will avoid this one."

"I read all the reviews but my stay was nothing but positive. Great location for the price. Rooms were just like any other Hampton Inn property. Parking was no problem, and $25/day is fair in town. And I could walk to tons of great food behind the hotel. The breakfast is not up to par, but I don’t expect much from a free continental breakfast. Just need my coffee, which I got! Would easily stay here again."

"I was afraid to stay after seeing reviews. We had to stay there for work, tho.But our stay was great. We had no problems. The staff were all super friendly. Especially the cleaning guys. And the guy at breakfast was so upbeat and nice. He was even singing and walking around. Breakfast was good and our room was clean."
