"Thanksgiving Day - no tea made. I was told that was not their responsibility and that the Church Street Chicken gals make that and they’re closed today, so no tea. (It’s literally jugs of Milo’s tea. Can’t possibly be that hard). They had more than enough staff on hand so I’m not sure why they couldn’t just make this happen… this is not a union state folks. This is the south - take care of each other!! Coffee creamer was also out, as were the coffee cup lids, but we had more than enough time to stand there and chat it up with various friends coming and going… what in the world? This place is never stocked when it comes to the drink station. Either the sweet tea is out or the unsweet tea is out, the tea available tastes like it sat in there overnight, the lids are always out for some reason, and half the time, the cups are too. It’s super frustrating- especially when you see workers standing and sitting around. I don’t know if this is a management issue, a leadership issue on the owner’s part, a lack of work ethic across the whole team, or a little of each from all the way around… When getting gas, if you’re doing my rewards, you have to do your payment at one end of the counter and then put your number in on a number pad at the other end of the counter, and then you have to go back inside for any change you may have left over! (It does not automatically go back on your card like most gas stations do… if you don’t go back in, your money will NOT be returned - great passive income for the owner of the shell station part of this place, but not so much for you the customer.) This place has the potential to be a great little mid way stop between the surrounding cities and Nashville, but it’s very poorly staffed and managed."
"Im a shell rewards member. I shop at shell gas stations because it rewards fuel points. The lady would not allow me to use my rewards number for my purchases, only for my points toward the gas price at the pump. Was very rude! If you're gonna put a gas station inside of a grocery store.. honor the purchases.. maybe she didnt like my mohawk or my dark brown Indian wife. Idk.. #burt3"
"I tell y'all what ..I'd give this store a 10 star rating if I could. I love this store. It's like a mini fancy supermarket. The place is loaded with small displays of gourmet snacks an sweets. They also support products from local businesses. An guess what? THEY HAVE THE BEST DONUTS! OMG I hit the donuts immediately when I walk in. Lots of folks I talk to describe it as a high dollar grocery. FYI...if you shop the weekly deals, you will save money. Their meat is so good. They even mark it down some if it's close to sell by date. The rotisserie chickens are amazing. It's all handicap accessible, they have restrooms, there's a restaurant.. and you won't believe what else.....A GOSH DARN DRIVE THRU. Oh and you can fuel up there too. ALL employees will talk with you and it feels like you've known em your whole life. I took lots of pics so y'all enjoy. BE SAFE AN STAY HEALTHY."
"Everyone is helpful at this location. The store is small in size but a big asset to the community. I especially want to give praise to the ones who prepare the fresh snack food... the fruit, yogart, and other foods made fresh. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You have a wonderful selection with quality fruits, vegetables, cheeses, eggs, and sandwiches. All are conveniently packaged to grab and go. Keep up the excellent work."
"One could consider this this a large gas station or a small grocery store. Well they do have more variety than a Dollar general grocery store, they don't have more variety than a regular grocery store, and the prices are quite high. Example, $5 for a box of Quaker instant oatmeal, while I don't expect them to be competitively priced with Kroger, I did expect them to have competitive pricing with the local grocery store. They seem to be priced much higher. Selection of fresh meat is sub par, although they do have a decent selection of fresh vegetables. Seemingly large variety of dry goods as well. They do feature a Church Street chicken eatery inside, along with seating. The place is quite clean, but being brand new you would expect that."
