"I called Randalls because I live in a different area to make sure they are open so I drove an hour and a half to go there because the food is good. When I got there, they told me they were closed due to short staff with over 60 people eating the lady at cashier was rude, I will never come back to Randall’s diner again!"
"My husband and I eat at Randall’s on occasion. We are there tonight, 1/30/24. My husband ordered the fried chicken, and I ordered the hamburger steak. The chicken on my husband’s plate looked like a frozen chicken patty. Our service was pitiful. It took around 15 minutes for us to get drinks after being seated. Our waitress, Renee, didn’t check on us at all. She only brought our food. Another waitress refilled our drinks. Renee was more attentive to the round table in the back. We won’t be back for awhile."
"It is very inconsistent. A lot of items are not homemade. Don't come expecting diners of the past. The catfish is good. Soup Beans mediocre. Slaw is not the best, nor the mashed potatoes. Get a burger, fish, livers, or something fried. They have breakfast all day but I am not a breakfast eater often so I can not comment on that. Pie is like grocery store pie. It is better than a lot of the alternative places here but certainly not the best mom and pop. The bathroom is gross though. It has not been cleaned good in a LONG time. The back of the commode and bottom are always disgusting."
"Mom and I ordered potato soup and corn muffin. Sent soup back it was luke warm and muffins cooked too long in oven, they were dry even with lots of butter. I'm sure it was just an off day for someone. We continue to eat here, normally they are pretty good!"
"First off, our server (I'm sorry, I can't remember her name) was excellent. As for the food, my wife enjoyed her's more than I did. She had the chicken and dumplings with fried squash and mashed potatoes. She enjoyed everything. I did try the potatoes and they were very nice. I also had the chicken and dumplings and they were very good, however, my sides were not. The Mac and cheese was watery and the cottage cheese had an odd taste, I think it may have been fat free. The biscuits and rolls come with vegetable oil spread rather than butter and my wife had to add salt to all of her items. Looking around at some of the meals around us, I will definitely be back to try their breakfasts."
