"I am a customer of Leon’s Transmission in Oxnard California. I dropped my car off to Leon’s in Oxnard to be looked at. I explained to them that my car was not shifting so that I could drive it. My car would not go further than a block. I had just moved from out of state and I was stressed beyond belief now stranded with no transportation. I thought that I was going to be out of hundreds of dollars that I did not have at all, therefore car less. Leon’s transmission told me they would look at my car for free and diagnose it. They called me back and said it was just a fuse that was causing the car not to run. To my disbelief they said that my car is ready to be picked up and that I did not owe them anything. I felt like crying. I could not believe that there were still honest helpful Machanic’s out there. Leon’s Transmission blessed me and my family tremendously just by their complete honesty. I am so grateful for them. I would recommend anyone to them. They are so honest and not looking to charge people but just to help people. "Story time: A buddy of mine and I decided to rebuild my 4L60e and everything seemed to go well except I noticed TCC was not fully locking. I ended up going to Leons and they went on a test drive with me while scanning the transmission for errors and they were able to give me some expert advice for free. I visited several other trans shops and many were not even willing to even take a look at the car. After a while I decided to just ditch the 4l60e and upgrade to the big brother 4l80e. I picked up a junkyard 4l80e and called around for quotes on rebuilding it. Leons ended up having the best price and installed my provided shift kit for free! They also use some of the best clutch pack materials and fix some of the shortcomings of the transmission. I don't remember how long it took them for the rebuild but I know it was pretty fast. Anyways The 4L80e they rebuild is still doing great after 1000 miles and a lot of hard racing miles! Thanks Leons! I will always be recommending you guys for the future!
