"The OWNER Carlos of AC TRANSMISSION charged my company $3,500 to rebuild my transmission in my Company truck, As diagnosed by him. I PAID HIM $3,500 DROVE IT, AND IT'S STILL NOT FIXED. CARLOS said he decided to install a SHIFT KIT INSTEAD OF REBUILDING IT AS AGREED. Now CARLOS & AC Transmission wants an additional $1,500 for a total of $5000 and quoted 6 WEEKS or more to rebuild it. "Great service on rebuilding my Mazda 3 transmission in March 2023 by Carlos! The transmission was making a whining sound in 2nd and 3rd gear and Carlos verified that the sound was coming from the transmission. His rebuild price was less expensive than buying a pre-owned transmission to be installed. After he started the rebuild he discovered it needed a new housing due to an embedded bearing which was causing some of the problem. He finished the rebuild close to one week and he showed me the old housing and the bearing, He kept in contact with me during this time to explain what was going on.
