Last Detail

"He had my car for 2 days and did nothing. I told him to forget it and that I was coming to get my car back, and not to do anything. I told him to forget about it because it was 11:45am and he said he wouldn’t be done with my car until 7pm, when it was supposed to be done by 7pm the previous day. Not to mention all he was going to be able to do was vacuum the inside and shampoo the seats, in 7 hours, after having my car for almost 2 days, at the time of our conversation. I live 30 minutes from his shop, had been without my car for 2 days at this point and did not have a ride back to Ukiah from my house at 7pm. I arranged the appointments because I knew I was going to be in town to come pick it up when it was supposed to be done. Magically in the time that we ended our conversation at 11:45am to when I was done with my appointment in town at 3pm, he managed to vacuum the inside and shampoo the seats, even though I had asked him not to bother with my car any more. That was the only thing he did in over two days, For which he charged me $125. When I arrived he was working on another car and looked like he had been working on it for a little while. I wanted my whole car washed on the outside and the inside detailed because I’m pregnant and cannot do it myself. Why didn’t he wash the outside like I had asked if he was going to go ahead and do the inside, and then work on another car after mine? Why didn’t he just do the job I had hired him to do? Not sure what he did to justify charging me $125. There were still scuffs on the inside and nothing was polished. All he did was wipe down the surfaces which were hardly dirty because that much I’ve been able to do, vacuum the floors and seats and clean the stains off the seats. I’ve had all of this done, plus the car washed in less than 2hours for $60 plenty of times at in the previous town I lived in. I feel 100% ripped off and would never EVER return here and would definitely not recomend this place to anyone else. He should have at least thrown in a free car wash. I am also very mad that he went ahead and did half the job, charged me for the whole thing and forced me to pay him after I told him not to touch my car. Rude."
