"We ordered Tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cake with beef belly). The waitress recommended this dish to go with the DIY rice ball. My husband and I always like Korean food. This Tteokbokki dish is now our new favorite. It is full of flavors and go perfectly with the rice ball."
"First of all, the price of Tteokbokki was about $16 and it only contained 4 small wheat rice cakes. So I asked if this was Tteokbokki(spicy rice cakes) and they said yes. Originally, there were supposed to be 14 rice cakes, but they made a mistake and said they would make it again. The new one also contained only 9 rice cakes. Is it a joke? It's Koreans' favorite comfort food, and including many rice cakes costs a few dollars in Korea. I lived in the United States for about 30 years in every major city and ate a lot of tteokbokki everywhere. This has never made sense to me."
"Old Korean style food restaurant, If you like Korean food, maybe you like here."
"I was excited when I heard about the opening of the Irvine location. I visited on the first day and tried their Hanshin Dakbal, tteokbokki, Mozzarella cheese pork, Boneless chicken, and DIY rice ball – all delicious! Highly recommend this Korean restaurant in Irvine; I will definitely be coming back again!"
