"One of the slowest Boiling Point locations I’ve visited. We were waiting at 3 PM for about 40 minutes, even though there were clearly some empty seats inside. The one I used to go to in Seattle (Lynnwood) is much better."

"Food was great and the service was even better. All the servers were so quick and on top of things. The host did a poor job though. I stood at the front when my number was called and then a girl walked in front of me. Our table had been called first and first in numeric order but he sat the table that was after us before us. I thought that was rude. But then they also got a bigger table and were served quickly. If it wasn’t for the host who didn’t know what he was doing I’d give 5 stars."

"Hot pot has always been my personal favorite place. I love coming here for their individual hot pot. It is so good, and I'm so addicted to it, but my only complaint is that there is always a long waiting list to be seated. Other than that, it would be perfect."

"Went back twice after moved away from Irvine. Both time we went there were only 3-4 other groups dinning but they made us wait 45mins. Not sure if that there strategy to make it looks like people waiting but really dont like the idea of doing that. Other than that food was great with a meh type of service. I felt like BP has gone down in term of their service and cleanliness."

"The personal hot pot is great value for what you get and has fantastic flavour in the broth. My go-to is medium-spicy beef with rice and green tea (if it's lunch). The food is consistently good at BP, and I like that there are so many ingredients. I've tried locations in Irvine and Garden Grove and even DoorDashed BP. It never disappoints. I recommend going early to avoid a long wait. Recently, I went around noon after BP reopened in September. I joined the waitlist but only waited around 10 minutes for a table. Food came out relatively quickly. The atmosphere at the Irvine location is nice. It's spacious inside the restaurant, so it doesn't feel cramped even if you're one of the parties waiting for a table."
