"This is an iconic piece of peace and fun on the Harbor and beach front. It's hard to call it a "dive bar" because I've never seen one on the sand or by the water. It has that feel like Cheers though. The floors were redone during pandemic. The good old smells mentioned in older posts are gone I'm sorry to say. 2 pool tables. Bar looking at the beach, side patio, beach patio, Channel Islands Harbor view, Volleyball nets, and a few local dogs that love everyone. The people love everyone too. People from all walks of life and ages. My daughter and other kids love to play on the beach. Golf and sports on the TV's. Favorite drink: Margarita with salt. Favorite bartender: Frankie Favorite owner: George Have fun!! PS. Cash only. No food. Eat before or Grubhub it."

"A bar on the beach with personality, some history, & dog friendly. Inside has darts, billiard tables, jukebox, live televised games, & drinks overflowing. The drinks on average are reasonably priced by comparison, & actually taste great. Outside consists of an enclosed area if there is any wind, but want to enjoy the view through the plexiglass in a comfortable patio setting. Kick it up a notch & head to the beachside where you can sip on a drink while seated on an Adirondack chair, feet in the sand, catching a few rays, & watching spectacular sunsets. Also, you can join in for a few games of volleyball. This is my goto place in SoCal!"

"We specialize in dive bars. What's a dive bar to me? No kitchen, no dress codes, opens before noon (6:30 AM preferred), friendly people, clean but not neat. This place is one, expect for opening time. Its hard to find without GPS because its not where a bar should be. That makes it special. Its a neighborhood bar among the homes. With a view of the Pacific Ocean, sunset, and a sandy area outside to gather. So I rated food average since there is none. But the view is the highlight"

"Great vibes, friendly folks, nice view of the beach, tasty drinks and snacks. Has pool tables and outdoor seating in the patio or on the beach (yes with your drinks!). My uncle participated in their St. Patrick's day events many years ago; the bartender remembered him and showed us pictures. If I lived there it would be my go-to neighborhood spot."
