"Seems like a quiet place from the outside until you walk in. Very busy and overall a great place for lunch. I rarely give 5 stars but this place is a solid 4+. Food comes out well prepared and my burger was a perfect medium. Prices are decent considering the location by the beach. I had the mushroom burger. Enjoyed it with a salad. Good size portions. They did have work going on while we were eating so that was a little off putting. They are very dog friendly btw ."
"I was told by locals Hollywood Beach Cafe was one of the best places to have breakfast. They were right. The best service and the food was delicious. Reasonably priced and large portions. I ordered the Hangover breakfast with sourdough bread, eggs over easy and coffee. The meal was huge and spicy, which I really enjoyed. The coffee was good and better than average. I highly recommend that you try this restaurant. It is an hidden gem in Oxnard California. I will definitely return to try something else for breakfast or lunch."
