"Have had a great experience lately here working with John, Jacob and Lucas. Friendly and very skilled/complete about the fit. There were alot of horror stories on the internet and in store service was mixed in the past for me, but I'm an extremely happy customer. Ordered two unstructured suits for Black Friday and have had a couple rounds of alterations, but the result is great. Shipping on the newly made garments is always fast - about two weeks then and now for a recent remake of the armhole. I also had good results with a shirt in the past. Am about to make a large order now that I have everything dialed in and will update my review. Prices for suits are about half of a mid end custom piece from Suitsupply when ordering multiples for the deal but I'd say the the workmanship is about 80%, fit about the same, and fabrics ranging from almost as good to better. The Harrogate wool/cashmere is really nice. I do wish they had more customization options for full canvas, lining materials, buttons (they only have like 8). But overall I think that Indochino is a great place to build up a complete suit closet with lots of different colors and options. If you're not careful at Suitsupply you can be paying $1200+ for one suit with a slightly nicer premium fabric. My S150 Harrogate was $420 on sale and doesn't feel any worse than my $868 Suitsupply S110 sharkskin. As long as their prices stay this low and the service as good, I'll be splurging on suits here for years to come."
"Indochino, the place that claims to make fancy custom suits, turned out to be a big letdown. I went there twice to get a suit that fits me just right, but they couldn't seem to get it together. The people working there didn't really know how to make suits look good. To make things worse, they don't give your money back, even if your important event already happened, and their suit was a total disaster. It's like they don't care. Just a heads up for anyone looking for nice clothes – don't bother with Indochino. They're not good at what they promise, and they won't fix their mistakes. Save yourself the trouble and find a better place to get a suit."
"I was shopping for a tuxedo for my 50th birthday! I had a couple other suit fitting at other places! But nothing couldn’t compare to my experience at Indochino! Jacob took wonderful care of me! My tuxedo fit like a glove and the fabric was amazing! This is the best experience I’ve had buying any type of suit! I’m already shopping for another! Try them out! You will not be disappointed! Thank you Jacob and thank you Indochino!"
"Stopped by the Indochino store for a new suit. Jacob helped me out and he was great! Professional and on point. Jacob assisted me on a few options and I'll be back again for a couple more suits. Good quality products and good service."
"Their Better Business Bureau rating is an unappealing “C”. The Indochino San Francisco store has a Yelp rating of 2-stars because of all their fit problems and issues. In-store lighting and fabric samples continue to be a problem. ~~ January 29, 2019 update: Would like to ding them half a star to 2.5 stars. Am still waiting for my two suit pants that I ordered in November (and were remade in December) to be corrected a second time (because their in-house tailoring service is backlogged - no surprise there). I also had to send my two suit jackets back again because their second attempt was closer, but still off the mark (too tight). I give them positive kudos for their friendly demeanor. However, Indochino corporate is cruelly sending me emails about their Spring/Summer collection when I am yet to receive my winter order :( ~~ December 2018 update: Credit Negative - I have dropped my rating from 5-stars to 3-stars following the arrival of two poorly fitted suits. Indochino is on watch for a further downgrade. Staff is still friendly, but evidently didn’t measure me well on my first hour or two visit, so took another 90 minutes to note everything wrong with the first two suits and fitted me with entirely different base slacks and jackets and remeasured me. I hope it’s correct this time. Neither they, nor corporate seem capable of providing me a receipt for my return nor a receipt showing that I’ll get a replacement suit. Very disappointing. ~~ November 2018: Friendly and professional service from Michael (who works there) and made to measure suits and customization at a nice Thanksgiving Black Friday sale price. Fitting took an hour or two. One striking negative is how difficult it is to look at the suit fabric samples on oneself in a mirror. All the fabric samples are tied to bars on the wall with not a mirror to be found. And if you do untie a sample and bring it to a mirror in the back of the store, the sample is wrinkled, awkward to hold, and the lighting is poor. Indochino needs vertical mirrors by the samples so that one can see oneself in the fabric. For what should be an easy process, this is a significant bottleneck."
