"Overall, it’s was a 3/5 for us. The good: The food was really good- close enough to a 5/5. We were happy to see a good Japanese curry locally as we usually go to San Francisco for this or make it at home. We were recommended this by a friend and we’re satisfied with the recommendation The bad: The service we had was definitely a 1 or 2 star. The reason being the following: —We went 3 hours before closing and they ran out of beef so we had to substitute to another meat (which is fine- but we waited 30 minutes before we were notified) —After placing the new order, we waited an additional 30 minutes before we had to complain that we hadn’t be fed yet and had to watch 6 other customers being served the same meal. The food came out immediately (5 minutes) after that complaint. We knew were had been forgotten and glad we said something. It appears that they gave us an extra side as an apology but I wasn’t a fan of it (appreciated the thought). —We noticed a price difference of the meals and wasn’t compensated for it. I guess we’re out of $5? Or was it for the sides that were given as an apology? —The location is really small by the way. I don’t recommend having a party more than 4 people or you’ll have difficulty seating. Probably better off ordering takeout. —We were denied a takeaway soup container for the leftover curry soup…that soup would have spilled in the car if we didn’t think of asking for a bag Overall: It’s likely a relatively new establishment- We’re fans of Japanese Curry so we’ll likely be back. The server did seem really nice and the food was really good so we’ll give it another try for another better experience."

"Having eaten world best quality tonkatsu in Japan, Korea, i think this is not authentic. Pork meat is super dry, not juicy at all. Frying oil looks bad. I’ve never seen frying batter is so dark. Not worth taking picture of Tonkatsu. Look at other pictures taken. Don’t be fooled by favorable reviews!"

"There's no name on the building so you would never know by looking at it, but this is like a secret spot for great Japanese style curry. The beer selection is unexpected - there are multiple Japanese beers I've never seen anywhere else. Will definitely be returning."

"This lovely but unassuming restaurant is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. There is no signage on the restaurant itself but you are guided here by the lovely aroma emanating from the place. I ordered the chicken katsu curry and was satisfied by the portion size, flavor, and overall charm of the restaurant. Caution must be exercised when choosing the spice level as the medium curry is rather spicy, but nonetheless delicious. All food is made to order and my katsu was the perfect consistency."

"Delicious fresh food. Tonkatsu curry a must order. Service is friendly and fast. Good family and student atmosphere. The place is a bit small so make sure come early to grab your spot."
