"Scotts Valley, CA Safeway is getting out of hand with their prices! Went to buy a 20 pack of Mission flour tortillas today (2/2/24) and just about had a heart attack when I saw their price was nearly $8. At Christmas I sent my daughter to buy a 10# bag of sugar and it was $15. After doing some research I found that most other stores were charging less than $10 for the same brand, same weight."

"Amy the baker in SV Safeway saved my Christmas! My father had been wanting a Black Forest cake I had completely forgotten in ordering it. When I walked in to asked about ordering, I was told that they were backed up on orders but did ask for information incase they had extras. I got a call on Christmas Eve that Amy is able to make a Black Forest cake. I surprised my dad with the cake, and he was overwhelmed with joy, as that is the only thing he wanted for Christmas. Thank you Amy!"

"This Safeway market is ten times better than the Safeway in Santa Cruz midtown and 20 times better than the one on Mission, West side Santa Cruz Employees are super friendly and helpful every time I’ve shopped here. Everything is organized and easy to find also check out is quick and they don’t force you to use the self check outs like the one on Mission"
