"Come here a lot, definitely love Osen. The food are great. And we always order a lot. I know Osen is a busy place, so I make reservations everytime. But my group still have to wait one hour to one and half for a table. So the stars are taken from the service. Should have a better management and service. It’s just ridiculous for wasting people’s time when they actual book the appointment and come on time. If you can not serve that much people, then just don’t give out that much reservations or hold the table for them, don’t give to walk in peoples. Feel like every time we have to stay in the line and wait with all the walk in groups. No one’s respecting the clients time. And the servants never give an explanation to us too. Even when we said we already wait for an hour. They just keep saying just 5 more minutes, 5 more minutes."

"Izakaya Osen is a newcomer to the Orange County sushi scene but wow! They’ve really made an impact. Their bowls (pictured below) are their signature and all five options are delicious and will cater to whatever cravings you have on the day. The rest of their menu is also strong, even if it is a bit too long. I prefer smaller, more handcrafted menus but that’s just my preference. Parking is easy, even when they’re crowded, which is most of the time. There is a large structure right behind it and they validate parking."

"First time here. Popular place, we made reservations a couple of weeks in advance for 5PM as they open for dinner. Service was exceptional , and everyone was attentive and patient. The food was great. We have their set dinner for $150.00 a person. We were too full to order other food on the menu. We will be back to try them. They also validated our parking."

"Such a great experience! Great ambience, definitely call ahead for reservations and ask for a side room. Lovely service from everyone, from managers to servers. Nice selection of kushiyaki, sushi/sashimi and rolls, and hot foods, and an even better selection of draft beers and sake. I'd highly recommend the king salmon, albacore tuna, pork belly skewers, and California roll with smoked crab meat!"

"High end sushi restaurant right in the middle of corporate offices. There were a lot of lunch hour office worker customers and those celebrating birthdays. The service was kind, prompt and professional. The sushi lunch was good and beautifully plated but not melt in your mouth type of sushi. The restaurant is modern, clean and simply designed. The prices are on the high side which will probably make me have second thought about coming back. I think I can easily find other sushi restaurants in the area with near similar quality for less money just without the great service you get here. But definitely a must try once."
