"Hi there! Went in today with foot pain and walked out with relief. The guy working there was super kind and definitely knew what I needed. He had a bit of a rough customer who yelled at him while he was helping me, due to an issue that he had no fault in. That kind of experience would kick anyone down, but it didn't knock this guy down. I was hesitant about purchasing some sole inserts, but after hearing the employee's suggestions and kind redirection on my decision, I was convinced that I needed to do something kind for my feet. Very good customer service, and the way he handled a very upset customer was admirable. I was a bit scared that the other guy would escalate more than he already had, but the employee calmed the situation and was able to diffuse the issue. Anyway, I walked out of there with some super comfortable shoe inserts and now I can finally wear the shoes I want without worrying about how bad my feel will hurt at the end of the day. My only regret was not getting the guys name that helped me. Retail is rough, he deserves some recognition, especially after todays events with getting a shoe box kicked at him. Will go back! :)"

You don’t often find people who actually know about shoes these days. A first rate, five star store. Definitely the best shoe store I’ve visited in Santa Cruz."

"Great selection of shoes. Disappointing sales practices. Selling you any shoes that they have even if they are the wrong size for you. Buying socks asking for over the calf and being lied to handing you a calf length sock and saying it will stretch over the calf."

A couple notches up from Big 5 and them. I spend 8-10hrs. a day on my feet in my boots, so long wearing comfort is important to me."
