"This is a situation where my spontaneity bit me in the butt. I bought the couples deal on Groupon and then made an appointment. Upon arrival, we were shuffled to the back. No one asked me for the coupon or payment, and no one asked what I paid for. The atmosphere was brighter than I’ve had in the past and there was no music, it was completely silent. The massage itself was pretty decent, just a little strange from my previous experiences. In the beginning you are massaged over top of a towel, for at least 15 minutes. I was asked about pressure and how I was doing, my partner however was not. We received hot stones (which was great), but there was no warning or direction to let us know what was going on. Same with the hot towels, there was very little communication. We were also never directed to turnover, we might as well have been in completely separate rooms. After the massage, we go to leave a tip and we are asked for payment. I show my coupon and the man seems confused, calls (what I’m assuming) the owner. The owner tells me we paid for 50 minutes and owe $30 more for the extra 10 minutes. Now, after this particular experience, I was not going to pay more. There was no acknowledgment or apology for the mistake on their end. In fact, I ended up paying more with the Groupon. The sign inside said $70 for 60 minutes, I paid for what was (supposed to be) $70 for 50 minutes. After a conversation over the phone, I said I wouldn’t pay the extra amount but I’ll leave my tip and leave. So, we did."

"OMG! I received the best massage I’ve ever had, and I have been to spas all over the country. The service was great, and the price was surprisingly less than I expected. I did not have to wait months for an appointment. I highly recommend this spa. You will not be disappointed."
