"The U-Haul website allowed me to schedule a trailer hitch installation at this location. It charged my card for the full amount (>$300). It sent me a confirmation email! Unfortunately, the whole thing was fake. When I showed up at 8:30 AM on a Saturday morning, having arranged transportation to get home, I was told that the Sunnyvale location doesn't do trailer hitch installs. Was I at the wrong location? No. My money had been refunded the previous day. The people at the actual office were very nice, but U-Haul the company should be ashamed of their online system, which essentially scammed me into giving them a 2 month interest-free loan."

"The attendant worked hard to figure out how to deal with me. But the hitch install appointment was an error and they could not install the hitch. I had to have a different installer that cost 4X more."
