"Love the products… hate this location. Extremely racist staff who act like I’m stealing every single time I walk in. I’ve had at least 3 different instances where they don’t take the tag off, the alarm beeps and I have to embarrassingly walk back to get my things checked. It feels purposeful at this point. If you’re POC watch the way they treat you. It’s crazy to watch other customers get treated properly and professionally right in front of you."

"The worst Madewell location I’ve ever been to. Very rude employees. They seemed like they hated their job. This tall girl at the cashier didn’t want to give me the discount I deserved, almost $150+ worth. This never happened in other Madewell locations(I’m a Star member so I shop here a lot). I thanked her and was being polite but she was so rude and didn’t even look at me once. Too bad this is the only Madewell option I have since I moved."

"I said hi to the lady fixing clothing and I got closer I again said HELLO ! She refuses to say hello....I made wye contact with the Asian cashier she did t acknowledge me even after her customer left I made eye contact with a smile she looked away. I'm an attorney I have money I can spend!!!! Not sure what happened l? I was presentable, my son was with me he's an actor and also look nitche. Not coming here ever ever again and also letting people know this!"

"GREAT employee! Cool clothes (if you're 15 to 35 yo!) Not for me. But that's cool. Great textiles! Amazing quality! I'm just a big guy and they don't have 3XL or very much in 2XL. So I left disappointed! Because their stuff is REALLY cool. But again... the 1 employee they had working there was very nice and helpful."

"This Madewell location HANDS DOWN has the best customer service! One of their employees by the name of Issi literally spent like 25 minutes helping us sort out an exchange. She called other locations, checked their site, and did everything in her power to make sure that we were able to exchange our item for a different size that they didn’t have in stock. It was very clear that Issi was acting in our best interest and making sure that we were taken care of. It is very obvious that the Madewell employees pride themselves in fantastic customer service. Also my wife absolutely loves their products."
