"It's a good store for women whose hair isn't blue and pink... :) Kinda like Ann Taylor. Prices are a tad high for what you get, but there are often discounts that make their products more affordable, especially in this less-than-stellar economy."

"Hi.I have ordered many items through out the years online from Talbots , the first time I tried to return a dress that was the wrong size i went to the store at 333 bear st Costa Mesa across from south coast plazas I was told that they have a strict 60 day return policy. I explained to the manager. That I bought the dress in July for a trip. And it was the wrong size. While I was away I got a phone call that my mom had fallen down and broke her hip. I came back home and had been going to hospitals and rehabs with my mom since July after her hip surgery she caught COVID in the hospital. she had one incident after another and I couldn’t think of anything else during that time my mom just passed away at the end of September. Even though the dress had all the tags on it and was never worn. And I explained in great detail why I went beyond the 60 days . The manager , I didn’t get her name she is A black lady had no compassion or interest at all refused to return the dress I’m very disappointed in this store"

"They spray perfume into the store and all their products smell like perfume. My entire clothes I wore into the store smelled like perfume and I was only in there for 5 minutes. This is the second time this happened to me so it’s way more than a coincidence. Why do that? It won’t come off easily in the wash, it gives me an instant migraine. Would never shop there again. $200 sweaters made out of pure polyester- minimum viable product total rip off awful ugly clothes. They have completely lost control of their brand."

"From the minute I walked in the store it was a wonderful shopping experience. A young lady (Amaris) was very attentive and able to point me in the right direction. What a breath of fresh air compared to other stores in South Coast. Beautiful window displays too!!! Top notch! Will definitely shop here again!!!"
