"This place has really good food but the servers and speed of food coming out is a joke. 30 min for fried chicken bites is ridiculous. And it took about 15 min for the server to even acknowledge us. If you’re in a rush avoid this place. Also the male server that wasn’t ours is digging his hands and glasses to scoop ice not only is that a sanitation issue but if any glass chips on that ice it’s going to get served to the next guest."
"My family and I just went to Jinya for lunch, and it was AMAZING! Being vegan, it is not easy finding ramen restaurant that offers vegan ramen, especially more than one type of vegan ramen, and Jinya has 3! On top of that they have so many vegan appetizers, it's crazy! We started with the impossible gyoza and impossible tacos, both were SO good - the tacos are made with wonton skins - they are pretty small but so delicious, and you'll have plenty of room for the ramen. The impossible gyoza was also amazing and I highly recommend. Another reviewer said the ramen portion was small, but I have to disagree. Even though the bowls are a bit smaller than many traditional ramen shops, the amount of ramen in the bowl appears to be pretty standard - tons of curly, chewy noodles, and plenty of veggies, tofu, and condiments. We tried all 3 vegan ramen options and all were great, but if I had to choose I would pick the vegan red fire opal - the broth was super awesome and the bamboo shoots were so good! If you are vegan or just want to try something different you should give it a try, you won't be disappointed."
"Strip mall ramen place. Service was good. The atmosphere was nice. Bathrooms are clean except no toilet paper. Ramen was good, not great. The chicken was great. Edamame was good."
"The variety of draft beer There were many. I ordered a Sapporo. It was delicious. The restaurant was spacious and the employees were very attentive."
"Solid food and service make this place a great spot to take friends or grab a quiet lunch. Coming recommend to my wife, JINYA was a ramen bar we knew we needed to experience. We went during lunch, so it was quiet and we got a table right away. The place is dim, warm and welcoming with Japanese-inspired decor and wooden tables accenting the bar that runs along the edge of the restaurant. The appetizers range from $6-$12, BAO buns run about $7 each. You can xpect to pay north of $15 for any bowl of ramen. Prices aren't too bad and the quality was on par. The BAO buns were delicious and balanced well with creamy sauces and fresh veggies. The corn and jalapeno appetizer was unique, but didn't have much flavor. I'll be honest, as a man who has a "ramen cabinet" at my house, I take my ramen seriously and this place's ramen is decent. I've had much better elsewhere, but let's break it down. I got the premium tonkatsu red with chashu and all the typical fixings. The broth was lacking and didn't taste premium, but the chashu was outstanding. The noodles tasted like they get them pre-made and just warm them up and put them in the broth. Don't get me wrong; it was decent tasting, but I was expecting more for $18. My wife got the black tonkatsu and much better broth, but nothing that couldn't be achieved by different instant noodles I've had. Now let's talk sauces on the table. The hot sauce was a good chili sauce and the gyoza smelled a bit sweet but I didn't try it. BUT, the seasoning sauce has my heart! We could both literally drank it and because of it's umami flavor it really lifted the ramen broths to a new level! Definitely try it! The staff is great, friendly and our waiter (can't remember his name!) even helped me figure out what was in the seasoning sauce I liked. This place is clean, has fresh and tasty food and does it pretty well. Might not be my favorite ramen bar ever, but definitely a legit place!"
