Jono's Sushi (Eastvale)

"So I decided to try this place last night, and I am paying for it in a real way. The combination plate I ordered for my son double salmon no teriyaki sauce. The salmon wasn’t even halfway cooked. I had a spider roll and a lobster roll and I was food poisoned. I’ve been sitting on the toilet most of the morning. It is now afternoon I’m on the toilet for my fourth time with diarrhea and I’m vomiting. If you want to take your chances eating here do so at your own risk, but you have been warned, their food sucks balls and is a risk of you getting sick, so take your chances if you like. My family and I will never eat here again ever. Those of you who say the food is good maybe you had a good experience I’m not sure some people will eat anything and say it’s good not me again, I got food poisoning from this place and their food!"

"I was the only person in the restaurant and had to ask for my check and when I ordered off happy hour menu they charged me regular menu and wouldn't take the price off I even point into the picture on happy hour the girl was on her phone all the time but other than that it was great sushi good atmosphere."

"Sorry. Just an opinion. I went for lunch and the fish was nit fresh. Was pretty firm instead of soft and the sushi had a fisher than normal taste to it. Also for happy hour I still spent 30 bucks on three 5 piece rolls and a drink. Two stars because the lady was nice but I will not go back there. And I never really leave bad reviews."

"Great sushi rolls, great service. We came on a Friday night and were seated and served quickly. We ordered the Jalapeño Roll, Tarren, Spicy Tuna Crunch, and Playboy. Food was on our table within 10-15 minutes. Each of the rolls was delicious, but the Tarren and Playboy were next-level. Special shout out to Tony for the quick, friendly service and great recommendations!"

"It's alright, standard cali sushi restaurant, better than sushi from the grocery store. I got a soft shell crab, it was over cooked on some spots and had a few spots of undercooked Raw flour, served with katsu sauce. Wife and I got bento boxes white rice was good my chicken fried rice had a small egg shell so kinda grossed me out but was ok at 1st few bites. Tempura was good. The udon was good. The salad was nice to look at but all the dressing was on top of 1 leaf. The carrots we fancy looking but kinda pain to put in your mouth because they we long and swirling. We shared a red rock sushi that was good. Nothing was blowing me away but if you live local and feel like eating some sushi, it's there and not horrible. Aside from the egg shell, salad and soft shell crab being a mess it's still worth a try. I think they could do better. The atmosphere just like their miso soup is just bland and tiny like the tofu in the miso soup. Like I said I feel like they have what they need to be a good sushi place but they are mishandling the resources they have. Time management needs to be better, you cant have people halfway done with their food while one person has to wait. Also getting our check and paying took way too long. But these are all problems that can be addressed and fixed. The servers were nice and did their best. All in all I will probably return and try something different. I just hope they can get some of the kitchen issues straighten out and keep the same kindness from the servers."
