"The food is amazing! Everything down to the bread was fresh, delicious, and made me lose my mind. This was a great random find before going to the South Coast Botanic Gardens. We tried the calamari, short ribs, chicken Parm, and skirt steak with risotto. It was difficult to pick a favorite. I need to go back and try more of the menu. They were usually busy for a Sunday night, but after tasting the food, it was worth the wait. The servers were friendly and attentive. They let us bring more bread home with our leftovers."

"If you haven’t been wanting to give this place a try, GO! I have wanted to try Gaetano’s for years and I finally did. I absolutely love this place. We went two weekends in a row. The walkway leading up to the restaurant is a beautiful pash with a view of the front patio seating. I highly recommended patio seating for a date night. It’s has beautiful outdoor lighting, heat lamps, and semi-private with decorative bushes creating a border from the parking lot and walkway. We have tried all the cocktail drinks in the menu, and let me tell you that all of them are delicious! The bread served is freshly baked and it is served with olive oil and herbs. Every dish that we have tried, we fell in love with. I can’t describe how magnificent the food is. Just try anything! You won’t be disappointed. Service has been great, from the hostess to the server, you can expect to be well taken care of. Few things to note: try making a reservation through open table, it can get busy. Outdoor seating is best for a more private/quieter experience. There is no room to wait inside. Inside is very loud but perfect for families. Only two restrooms (one per person )."

"The ambiance of this place is so nice, the lighting, the heaters and just all around is a nice date spot. The food is pretty good, portions and pricing are actually pretty good. We had food for dinner and leftovers. There was a little issue with our order but Madie and the manager went above and beyond to help and it was greatly appreciated."

"What a lovely experience we had here. We were in a rush to get seated but there was a 30 minute wait for a table so we looked over at the bar and there were two empty chairs. They offer their full menu at the bar so we made a good decision to sit where the locals sit. Two ladies, who were regulars, had the most welcoming invitation to sit next to them. We had the seafood pasta, the special pasta, and artichoke hearts. The special was a meat sauce pasta with short rib, meatball, and sausage. Everything was delicious. The female bartender was super friendly and the atmosphere of the place is just everything you would want in a restaurant. My new favorite spot in town."
