"$40 for a large is steep. It's expensive for what it is and it seems they get offensive of bad reviews. You wait a while for your food even though you've called it in and get there after the time they give you. It's good pizza, but not the best. Not for the money anyways. The attitude of the staff is stale, nothing to be excited about. Perhaps it's a place if they know you..you'll get better service? Idk"

"Lamppost has been a part of my life since I was a kid. Since then I don’t think anything has changed, and that is the beauty of this place. It’s like Granny’s Donuts in San Pedro, both have been around for a long time and both still serve up the same delicious foods that we all enjoy from day one. LP may not be the greatest pizza in the world, but being consistently good at making pizza and wings for this long has its merits. When someone says, “I know a pizza spot”, it better be LP or nothing."
"I really enjoy Lamppost pizza. It is some of the best pizza in the town and the way you have to wait tells you a lot about how much people like it. I always come back because it's always the best pizza. I like the sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms with pineapple on it. I share it with my friends and they tell me the same. It's great."
"Update Review: 12-17-2023 Another amazing night at Lamppost Pizza with my son and picking up large pizza and wings to go! The place was completely pack with people just having a great time. Seeing the kids playing and having a great time as the adults enjoying a glass wine and a few draft beers. This is one the spots that you must come by. Again, thank you for the amazing pizza today! You guys ROCK! Excellent Pizza! If you want some good pizza, than this is the place to come by and enjoy yourself. They have pizza and beer including TVs on the wall so we can watch baseball or even Tennis! Located in Torrance ( South Bay ) just off Crenshaw Blvd. and Rolling Hills Road in the same parking lot as Ralphs Super Market. Great place to bring the kids and enjoy some amazing pizza.
