"Not upscale, not too casual, this spot has very fresh salads, delicious soups, and a variety of sandwiches. As the name implies, they have a variety of fresh baked goods as well. And a few pasta dishes. Great options for kids."

"Door Dash delivery; arrived well packaged and early. The tuna sandwich was just okay. For $17+ dollars there could have been a lot more tuna! The loaded potato soup was gross. Grainy with an inexplicable layer of oil on top. Shudder. It was bad. This won’t happen again."

"Stopped in for a late lunch. We ordered the ‘Chicken Carbonara’ bowl (small serving), and ‘Ham and Swiss’ sandwich. The ‘Chicken Carbonara’ was served with a light yet flavorful sauce, generous amounts of chicken and bacon. The ‘Ham and Swiss’ sandwich was a perfect size for lunch, served on a sourdough roll with tomatoes, onions, and a light Italian dressing. This lunchtime meal was good quality and represented good value. The staff person who took our order responded patiently to our questions, and our food arrived just a short time later. The restaurant and tables were clean when we arrived and our table was cleared for us shortly after we finished. There is a surprising amount of outdoor seating available. This day, all the tables were clean and in good order. We’ve visited this Corner Cafe location many times during our trips to Irvine over the years. The food and service have been consistently good. “We’ll be back.”"
