"Customer service excellence! I had placed an online order however it wasn’t the right fit. I went into the store to make a return but luckily the fit I was looking for was in store and I proceeded to ask if I could exchange it. Olivia, the girl that helped me was super cordial. There seemed to be some trouble with the pricing but the manager Asia came to help, she was very helpful and friendly as well. I also would like to highlight their knowledge on their products, I have been looking for a specific shirt style but had no luck, I described the item to them and they were able to get me the information. Unfortunately it wasn’t in stock but they politely referred me to their app to order it. Overall I was very pleased with their service and willingness to help. Thank you so much Olivia and Asia! Five stars service."
"I don't think I have ever written a review for a retail clothing store, and this may be my one and only. I am doing so because the experience that I was provided was basically none at all. I understand that we all have to start somewhere no matter where we work, but why can't these Gen Z's care or give more of an effort in providing great customer service? I can tell that one things for certain; they won't last a day in a premium retail brand like Banana Republic or a luxury one such as Louis Vuitton. In context; these so called customer service people with no service skills at all will get booted out the door for not caring. This store in particular has always been some what messy and organized, but why did I attempt to shop here? Simply because of convenience and not having to visit the other two stores downtown. I found a pair of dress pants in the clearance rack, and not only was the label mis-sized, but that there was no price tag to be found. It looked bigger than what the size label indicated and surely enough It fit me perfectly and would have been a great pair of work pants to add to my wardrobe. What I mean by "would have been", is simply because the manager on duty (un-humble female African American), who refused to sell the garment to a ready to pay client. She simply said because the style is from 2019, and that the style number is no longer registered as active in the system that It could not be sold. I questioned and pressed for an answer as to why the garment was hung on a ready to sell rack? The manager, not only did she not address the matter, she also did not apologize for the inconvenience and asked that I purchase a full priced garment. She then said that she would prefer not to under charge for the garment. This is pretty lame and ridiculous; the store basically told me that they would rather keep the out dated garment and not sell to make some kind of return. This is the last time I will visit this store and I wouldn't be surprised if they end up closing in the near future."
"Okay selection of clothes, clothes are decent quality, some displays aren't as nice as they could be, service wasn't good. I entered to find a lot of boring clothing. If you like colorful things, this is not where you want to shop. I noticed some shoes on display and decided to buy one pair. They were a little dusty, but there weren't any in boxes, so I took the ones on display. I looked through the clothes and noticed pulled threads on a few pairs of pants. I decided I wouldn't get pants here, but I did select two shirts. At checkout, there were only two employees working and both were putting clothes on hangars. One of them told me to give them a second, so I stepped back a little, but the other put down what she was holding and said she could help. I asked if they had shoes that weren't dusty, and she swiped the exterior of the shoes with her hands. I pointed out that most of the dust was inside, and she said I would be wearing socks. After removing the hangars from my shirts, she just tossed them into the bag. I recommend not visiting this store. If you'd like to visit Express, the Union Square location spans two floors and has a much better selection as a result."
"This store has an unaccommodating and unfriendly staff. I was treated harshly by an employee who I later found out to also be the store manager. I expressed that I really liked a T-shirt and two jeans but was told I couldn’t get into the fitting room 35 minutes before their closing time while the store doors were wide open and people were shopping and despite me mentioning multiple times it would only take me two minutes to try on the two jeans as I have already tried on the T-shirt. I gave them back all three items and left their store. Very unpleasant experience."
"Detailed, caring staff. Even in a rush and super busy I had a positive experience with their Store Manager. She was polite and attentive to my needs under pressure. Prices super reasonable too. Will be back."
