"Needed an evap fan, no one else had one I could get that day. So I bought the part here gentleman was polite and was able to get the part I needed but online the part was only $25 I ended up paying him $87!"

"I needed a dryer belt, a search on-line gave me a price of $10 for an OEM belt from various suppliers. I like to keep my money local so I went to APE. Well, $30 dollars later I had my belt. As much as I like keeping money local this was more than double the price. Unless your in a pinch, go into APE with an idea of how much you should be roughly paying for your part. I could have waited, but bought it anyway, won’t make that mistake again."

"Wow, I got ripped off. Buyer beware at APE! On 6/8/20 I walked into APE and paid $278 for a gas valve I could have bought on Amazon for $66. This is the exact same valve except the one at amazon comes with a regulator! Nice guys and very knowledgeable. I expect to pay more for good service. I wouldn't have a problem with 100% more if they are advising me on what I need. But over 400% more? I don't think I'll ever trust these guys again. Never never trust this parts store for your appliance parts. Again, what a rip off."

"Chatted on the phone abut the part I needed to fix my home furnace, they said come by and lets see. When I arrived they had the part on the counter waiting for me. The exact part I needed and my furnace was running again in an hour. Great service and very nice to have the parts local for immediate delivery. Yes, you pay more than ebay, but there is a cost involved with great service and immediate availability. If I would have had to call a repair service the cost would have been $1000 easily, If I had to wait for online retailers the delay would have been days."
