"I was visiting a friend in the East Bay and craving some authentic Brazilian açaí when I found this place on Yelp. The food is phenomenal! I got the very berry açai bowl and an empada, and I could definitely tell that the ingredients are high quality. Every mouthful was delicious, and even the 15 oz size is a huge portion. The bowl it’s served in is deep, so it feels like a lot. My friend got a coxinha, which was just as yummy as the other two. It was also twice the size of coxinhas I’ve seen sold at other places. Impressive! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere of the café is warm and cozy. Highly recommend!"
"The best little secret in Danville. Best rolled ice cream and really authentic Brazilian food. Our kids favorite treat spot!"
"Went on Saturday night for dessert. Had the resses peanut butter rolled ice cream. Watching it being made is the fun part. It was great! The staff were welcoming and quick. It's a very small shop so best to eat outside."
"Place was so good. A lil taste of home. I was a piglet and ordered a bunch of stuff. All fabulous!"
"Just stopped into this new Brazilian bakery on Hartz and what a welcome addition to downtown Danville. The owner/baker was exceptionally nice and helpful. All of his suggestions were delicious and we tried a bit of everything including the chocolate carrot cake (delicious like a tres leches), kibe (aka kibbeh, delicious beef treats), rizoles (like empanadas but more delicious—the owner suggested the corn one and it did nothing disappoint), and pao de queijo (cheese bread)! Everything was fantastic!"
